hi I have
very special request from a customer
name is sandy and she would like some
instructions on how to fold are the
happy birthday pop up card and i am
going to show you how to do that real
quick so i'm going to set this piece of
side it looks like a pretty complicated
fault and it does take a little bit of
fiddling with what i like to do is put
my fingers here on the two sides and
pinch that backwards so that your card
will fold in half when you're done and
then I like to do is flip the card
upside down and start pinching each of
those bottom folds down just like this
and then I like to come back to the top
and just fold each of the next folds
down again just like we did on the back
but do that on the front to that next
set of folds that will give you your
first birthday and set of stairs I guess
we'll call them
ok so you can see that those are
starting to take shape now and then I do
the same thing for the next level I just
go ahead and flip it back over and pinch
that bottom set down again
and then let's see here like flip it
back over to the front and we'll pinch
those forward
so this is giving our second as our
second set of stairs with the a happy
word ok so just make sure everything is
stair-stepping the way that it should
and then again I just flip it over again
and fold the next set from the backside
by just pinching each of those and this
gives us the little birthday present
that sits up at the top and then flip it
over to the front and fold those forward
and then we have this teeny tiny little
step here and I just kind of have to man
just form that one by pulling that out
so now we should be able to take our
card and slowly and carefully fold it in
half
ok so those are centerfolds right there
and everything else should fold in half
these are having a little bit of a hard
time going away they should hear
just make sure that little birthday
present pops the way it needs to
ok now it looks like it's going to fold
for us and I just take the whole card
and put it right in half and this is
what it should look like from the inside
in both directions and then when you
open it up you get your happy birthday
and then there's a little present area
here that you can put your little
embellishment pieces on
so I hope that helps you understand how
to fold this card and you can just glue
that right inside the card base and your
cards all ready to go
