How to Split and Merge Adobe PDF Files Free

A short tutorial on how to download and use PDFSAM, PDF Split and Merge software.

okay hi guys its kind of will be here I
want to show you a cool piece of
software that I just downloaded and used
for free it's for splitting PDF files in
case for whatever reason you need to
split them up they're too big and you
know you can do a whole bunch of wicked
stuff with this let me show you
ah ok it's called go to PDF s a.org
split and merge don't work
ok BF Sam doc work brings you to this
page you can click on the two-point old
beta and i sorry not going to click on
download and then i use the 2 point 0
beta and the windows 32 installer brings
you the sourceforge and then you just
click to save the file
ok so now when you save the file alright
you're going to get something that looks
like this
alright it's a win32 I SD whatever yacht
anyway you install that and this is what
the program looks like PDF split merge
ok it's a sweet program and loads up
alright i don't know a whole lot about
you but i just want to show you a couple
of the quick features because i was just
setting up my Aweber account to send out
some pdfs to people and I i realized
that they only have a one megabyte limit
per attachment for email so I split it
up into a couple and send them out right
away so go to split okay and then you
can these are the options you can use to
split the file like spending a single
pages and pages on page blah blah blah i
split by size and I chose one megabyte
now when it does that it's gonna be like
1.000 to megabyte so will fit anywhere
but then I zip the file afterwards so
check this out
one megabyte add ok up here's where your
file UPF go so click add and then I go
to documents desks desktop and then
like pick whatever PDF files you want so
you say open it lowers it up there and
actually let me choose a different one
because um because that was too small
this one's good ok 235 pages huge like
two-and-a-half megabytes will tell you
what version they used to encoded anyway
you pick what you want to do I i put in
the same destination
I don't overwrite and I don't like to
compress the output file i leave in the
same format that i use that's version
1.3 and you can read that up here and
it's right there and then they put this
prefix on it just so you don't overwrite
your file and whatever so when you click
run and you can see this progress bar
down here it just starts working it's so
easy gives you the lovely little chime
and then you can go and you can see this
file and this file we just created the
first one
ok that starts up 80 and goes up 237
happened to go 237 pages
ok which is a page 120 because there's a
bunch of stuff before start counting and
then the second one goes from 138 which
is 120 page 121 and then it goes all the
way down to whatever it is
page 2 35 or something to 20 ok so then
you split into two pieces
the program also has some other stuff
like merging files so I wonder if we
could re-emerge it we probably could do
that right here so let's go ahead and
pick that and I'm gonna go with this one

ok and i think you know
ah that's it and finishes for you so you
see what i do is i select a couple of
the files i put them up there I tell
them where I want the file to go and
unclick these God gold the compatibility
for format that's what i like to do you
can test and check it out and then you
click run it gives you the beautiful
trying and there's test right there so
it starts a page 0 and goes all the way
down you can see right here page 2 goes
up to 235 pages all the way down
