yeah
in today's DIY perfect picture wall
we're going to see to the secrets behind
hanging pictures
fast easy and in a way that over time
they're not going to become crooked
that's right
these pictures are going to mount easy
and stay straight
here's what you need
power drill a level wire or nail cutters
measuring tape pencil panelboard nails
and a hammer
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
for this project we use a 2 inch space
yeah
yeah
and
yeah
make sure the picture is in the right
orientation
now I like to use one in 58 ring shank
nail if you use this size nails
make sure you use a five and sixty
fourth drill bit for pre-drilling those
nail holes
be sure to tuck the drill bit as far
back into the drill as it can go
you only one about 38 to a half inch of
the drill sticking out this way you
don't accidentally real to the front of
the frame a place to nail down the hole
and tap it with the hammer just until
you feel that it's nice and tight
take those clippers and cut the nail at
a downward angle
be sure to protect your eyes from any
pieces it
cutting it this downward angle creates
this nice sharp point which is great for
going into drivable but be careful
carefully place your picture against the
wall make sure not to scratch the wall
with the nails place your level on top
and adjust the picture until its level
once you have it where you like it just
give it a push
that baby is not going anywhere since we
chose two inches as our spacing between
pictures i went ahead and use two inch
blue masking tape work from the center
out
that way all i have to do is line it up
and use the level now here you'll see
I've already hung almost all the
pictures
now it's time to hang the last picture
line it up
give it a push remove the tape it down
y la
and there it is we hope you enjoyed that
DIY perfect picture wall video leave a
comment below let us know if that's
something you think you're going to use
come back soon we'll see you next time
thanks for watching
