How To Unjailbreak/Remove Cydia (iOS 9.3.3) w/ Cydia Eraser | Restore Without Updating (No Computer)
HOW TO: Unjailbreak/Remove Cydia on your iOS 9.3.3, 9.3.2, 9.3.1, 9.3 - 7.1 iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using Cydia Eraser!
This will allow you to not only remove Cydia, but you can restore without updating and without a computer, that way you can jailbreak again on a fresh install of 9.3.3.
From Saurik:
Running this tool will destroy all of your data: this is the goal. Do not run this unless you want to destroy all data.
(So, you should make a backup first. After using this tool, you will have to re-activate your device. If you are logged in to iCloud, you will need to have your Apple ID password to get access to your device after it reboots.)
(Also: if you happen to have a copy of the full XML/plist of com_apple_MobileAsset_SoftwareUpdate.xml for iOS 10 beta 1, the file which includes details on the OTA update f05a449f8f58b3f4c218d9e8894804e787162633, please send a copy of this to me: I missed that particular file :/.)
Cydia Impactor is a device management suite that runs on "full" computers (Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X). It was released in 2013 with one popular feature: to jailbreak Android devices using the "Master Key" exploit.
Cydia Eraser is a tool which has only one feature: to remove and revert all changes made to the device and return it to "stock" Apple iOS software without updating to a new version of iOS.
Originally, Cydia Eraser was released under the name Cydia Impactor, as "unjailbreak device" was slated to be a feature of the full tool, and the mobile implementation was built from the same codebase. However, I never finished this feature for the full version of Impactor.
Meanwhile, some of the stranger technology decisions in the original versions of Eraser that made it seem almost neccessary to have unified naming were actually changed before the tool was ever released, but I forgot to go back and re-evalulate the decision to overlap the names.
This will remind some of a tool called iLEX RAT, which was compatible with iOS 4 through iOS 6, as well as Semi-Restore, a desktop tool like iLEX RAT that came out a month later (in 2013).
However, this tool is different: after the tool finishes, damaged/lost files will be repaired (back to Apple stock) and the device will no longer be "jailbroken".
WHY WOULD I USE THIS?
1) you want to sell your device to someone else, but you don't want to upgrade it (as the ability to jailbreak the device is more valuable), but you also want to delete all of your data.
2) you are noticing problems with your setup, and you've already tried ordinary troubleshooting steps, and you want to just start over again with a reasonably fresh install.

what's up guys my name is Brandon and
welcome back to the second upload of the
day so if you missed the first upload be
sure to check the link right here on the
screen or click the link down in the
description but in this video I'll be
showing you how to completely restore
your device remove your jailbreak and
stay on the same firmware on 9.3 . 3
without the need of a computer so as we
know iOS 9.3 . for and obviously iOS 10
are not able to be jailbroken at the
time so if you want to restore your
device inside of itunes you will be
upgraded to 9.3 . for and after I'd say
probably this week Apple will stop
signing 9.3 . 3
so you will not be able to downgrade
after this week so if you're on iOS 9.3
. 3 now and you're thinking about
restoring don't do it through itunes do
it through this method I'm going to be
showing you today let's talk about the
tool the tool is called city eraser
actually used to be called cydia
impactor which is what we actually use
to jailbreak your device now with paint
and it was created by stark himself the
creator of cydia so since we will be
removing everything off our device it's
highly recommended that you make a
backup of all of your data just so you
can restore from that back up after we
get done restoring from City racer let's
go ahead and get right into it i will be
showing you myself
restoring the ipad mini here using the
city eraser tool
alright so now that we're at the ipad
i'm just going to go ahead and prove to
you that I am jailbroken so let's go
ahead and open up cydia and as you can
see down there at the bottom we are on
iOS 9.3 . 3 on an ipad mini and to
install cydia racer all you need to do
is go into cydia go to search and just
search for Cydia eraser
alright so once you install it you will
have this little pencil eraser icon here
called eraser go ahead and tap on that
once you open it up you will see it says
welcome to city eraser using this tool
will destroy all data on your device
revert all changes the files on the
device remove the jailbreak and return
it to stock apple iOS while preserving
your iOS version and then goes on to say
before tapping on the button at the
bottom of the screen which says erase
all data note that you should already
have a complete backup any day you want
to keep so as I mentioned earlier you do
want to make sure you have an iCloud or
an itunes backup before trying this so
it goes on to say that the device needs
to be connected to the Internet and the
device also needs to be not low on
battery right so let's go ahead and tap
on the big red button and then go ahead
and
it erase all on the confirmation pop-up
from here you will see a bunch of stuff
running down here i will be back
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
alright so now we are on a brand-new
fresh install of iOS 9.3 . 3 here on our
iPad Mini just to prove that we are on
iOS 9.3 . 3
go ahead and open up settings and as you
can see there for the version number we
are still on 9.3 . 3 so we have guys
that is how you completely remove your
jailbreak and restore your device while
maintaining your same firmware keep in
mind that you do not keep all of your
city of weeks if you do restore from a
backup you will not keep any of your
city it's me to have to reinstall
everything but you will be able to keep
your photos and your contacts and
messages in your notes and things like
that so if you have any questions about
this process if you run into any kind of
problems whatsoever
be sure to leave a comment down below I
will make sure to get back to you within
the first 24 to 48 hours so if you enjoy
please give this video a thumbs up also
please consider subscribing if you
enjoyed this video and want to see more
just like it so thank you so much for
watching and I'll see you very soon
yeah
