Minecraft Tutorial: Living Room Furniture Design (Modern House Build Ep. 14)

Well hello there, GoodTimesWithScar here bringing you a how to build a modern house series. This new Minecraft house building tutorial will go over all the aspects of making a cool looking Minecraft house or structures from the layout, house design and interior design. In this new modern house project we will make a large mansion style house with a pool and garage. The house will be made out of quartz, spruce wood, dark oak, and hardened clay. The name of the house is the s'more house. In episode 14, we will make an awesome modern living room with furniture.

well hello there my fellow miners and
crafts get on skype here bringing you
another career path bill but we're
working on our super awesome small house
and in today's if so we're going to work
on one awesome living room with chairs
couches and all sorts of other great
designs
so let's get this episode underwear
alright and welcome back to us more
house build here and look at that house
go
how it is looking super fancy now with
all of its landscaping in the front and
as you can see on the upper level we can
start to see some of the rooms all being
filled in with all their furniture and
good step but let's jump over here
before we had in real quick and look at
jelly chilies really concerned with Bob
the creeper building inspector she's
brought in the cap Defense Force is
moving in her cap defense force to
secure the area from all these creepy
inspectors
but anyway my friends let's head inside
here and as you can see look at this
place
it is starting to look like a home we
finally got our staircase got all sorts
of furniture pieces and of course our
twitch streaming or my personal favorite
room in the house so far but we've got a
lot of work to do today and first thing
we're going to do today in our living
room is start building our floor
so we're going to clear that out of the
way and we're just going to start adding
the dark chocolate slabs on top of the
floor like so and then this will make up
our floor so we are able to do some
fancy different things for our furniture
now the room will have two couches
somewhat modified in a modern style and
the colors of course are going to be the
red stained clay and the wet stained
clay and then of course we're going to
kind of do some unique designs with them
and of course that unique chandelier
also so let me fill this in
all right there we go we've got
ourselves a floor so along the window as
you can see how the window wraps around
here
we're just going to fill that in with
some milk chocolate there we go looking
good looking good
our smaller house is really coming
together there we go awesome ok now
we're going to fly on over here and
we're going to from this little corner
right here
we're just gonna add some little pillars
and I think that is going to look really
nice or is going to bring those up like
so and then from here what we're going
to do is we're going to grab out our
slats once again and we're just going to
run those on the top so we're just going
to working at the moment on getting the
basic you know a structural design of
the room before we get into the little
details so we're going to add that on
the top so as you can see just getting
those structural details applied there
we go
and I'm going to drop down here once
again i'm going to add a half slab along
there and I'm going to cut this section
out like so and i'm gonna probably bring
it up to
I'm gonna say I'm going to bring it up
to about here
I think yeah I think we're going to try
that for now let me count this out let
me see for sure so that's 1 2 3 4 5 6
i'm actually going to push that back one
and then add just a little bit of
breathing room along here and then that
will allow me to place another one of
these pillars going up like that and let
me just fill in the bottom there
looking good looking good so that i'm
going to sneak out the
no here and then what we're going to do
here is we're going to extend out the
window and it's just adding a little
extra design to our windows and that
looks pretty cool let's fix that if we
can't there we go
and then what I'm going to do here is
I'm just going to take out my half slabs
and run them on the bottom like that
there we go and then do the same over
here and then just put that right there
is a temporary block
there we go looking good looking good
and we've box ourselves out of our house
every Co
let's sneak back in there we go awesome
ok so then I'm gonna sneak on over here
and what I'm going to do is I'm just
going to add some stairs on the bottom
adding just a little bit of a window
sill
looking good looking good ok so next
thing i want to do here is I want to get
some stairs I want to do a design that
goes across there but we'll do that in a
little bit
so our next space here is let me get out
some plant life let me get out some
spruce bushes
there we go and i'm going to cut in like
so and then headed to our magical
inventory and find ourselves see lantern
there we go and i'm just going to stick
those guys down there like so and then
i'm going to run this all the way up to
about there and then cut that actually
going to go like that
there we go that looks good so that'll
just bring in a little bit of light
add a little extra color to the room to
kind of mix in with some of the browns
so that'll look really good
okay good all right huh let's see what
we want to do here
let's actually remove this one's there
wonderful and then I'm going to grab out
this so I'm going to grab this year and
i'm going to start building our couch so
I mean it's going to get this laid out
so i'm going to do too high as you can
see like so and then I'm going to bring
that out like that and then I'm going to
stick back here one more time and we're
going to start to bring this across so
far we've gone one two three four five
ok and we're going to bring this 60 from
this block 1 2 3 4 and that's five and
is six
awesome and then of course we're going
to go to four so this is one two that's
three and that's for beautiful wonderful
and it will cut out the center there and
then fill in that like so perfect and
then we'll grab over here and grab
ourselves a little
a bit of snow and that will act as a
cushion for the couch
looking good looking good alright so now
we're gonna grab our sales
um where are you there you are grab
ourselves of these guys and this is
going to be a little tricky so my
original idea is I just don't think it's
going to work unfortunately what I
wanted to do was add you know like a
little like table on the back side of
the couch like so as you can see and
then I was going to place you know some
potted plants and different things like
that on here but unfortunately it's just
not going to work the way the pass labs
you know work so unfortunately I can't
do that but it would be awesome if
minecraft would allow us to do that like
mix half slabs or add you know
no flower pots on to a slab that's down
one from this plane you know different
things like that
I think that would be really cool but
unfortunately they just don't want us to
do that
all right there we go and number is
going to start bringing these pieces
along here like so I'm gonna bring that
to their i think so that's one two three
four and then thats 1 2 3
I think that's good like that there we
go so this is kind of more of a chair
then a couch
let me bring that across there like so
oh yeah things are coming together my
friends things are coming together
so now over here i would like to grab
myself a little bit of a coffee table to
something really simple it's just
something simple
there we go ok and now i'm going to do
is I'm just going to clear all that out
of the way for now and I'm going to grab
out some white stained glass and this is
going to be for chandelure and then I'm
gonna grab another
what is this this is like gray okay
that's looking good and I want to grab
myself a see lantern beautiful and then
we're going to do is we're going to try
to build a modern Chanticleer of some
kind
so we're going to do here is I'm going
to stand right on the coffee table
see how the coffee table is directly
right about here so it's kind of a lined
up right there
okay I'm gonna go like that and then go
like a lot I'm gonna go around one more
time and then swoop around the side here
and then apply this lighter stained
glass around the seal and turn and look
at that
looking super awesome
alright so first thing i noticed over
here I want to do a quick change
I want to bring this all the way down
let me know what you think of this here
living jump back down here so i can add
the glass come on

what's going on out there watching Bob
the creeper building inspector keep an

yes that looks way better than looks
much better let's get rid of that

to come together so give me one second

alright and welcome back so we're on the
upper level here and what I've been
thinking about is adding an extra door
out to our balcony from the upper level
staircase area so I don't know what do
you guys think of this does that kind of
not look so great from the outside
that's my only concern like I like it
the looks of it from the interior but
the outside I haven't quite decided if I
like this extra you know exit of the
house so let me know what you guys think
of that and let's get back to work here
so we've got a few more details here the
finish up so of course we've got our
nice little sitting room all built up
and ready to go and looking pretty cool
i like it it does kind of have a modern
feel to it with the chandelier and the
different colors of the couches and
loving it and I'm loving it
r right so what we're going to do here
is we're going to remove her floor put
that right there and we're going to grab
ourselves a little bit of dark chocolate
and run this up the line they're looking
good see how we build that up there like
that
looking nice ok so we're going to do
over here is we're going to come out and
we're just going to build this up a
little bit so we cut into the floor
there
there we go so we're going to build out
our marshmallow there we go
looking good all right and then I'm
going to come over here i'm going to
place the block right there and I'm
gonna sneak over here and have a spacing
to in the center there
I'm going to run this up here so we're
working on a bookcase
so as you can see this look pretty cool
so we're going to stick those guys back
here
there we go and then fill these in like
so
nice nice and then I'm going to cut in
here like that and then i'm going to
apply some carpets and this will be you
know like little shelves never go and
i'm going to come up here once again and
cut those in and there we go
looking good
looking good alright so now this area
could use a little bit more so let's
bring this across there like that and
then let's take this and run this all
the way across here and i think i'm
going to line it up - they're looking
good and then sneak in here and then
also added throughout here because i
forgot that in our last episode
there we go wonderful awesome awesome
there we go alright so let's head back
in here and then do kind of the little
one silver make sure everything is all
looking good and I'm like it
I'm like it's really simple it's compact
it's got a great feel to it I like the
feel of it so you know you have this
area over here where i wish i could put
some decorations on here and we need
something back here
so you guys have some ideas for
decorations just something to spruce
this area up back here a little bit
possibly even a spruce leaves maybe some
from over there
but something needs to go back here I'm
not a hundred percent sure what yet but
it's kind of great field because once
you head over to the couch you know each
couch you know is you know position in a
way that lines up with the other couch
so if you know a couple people are here
communicating back and forth you know
having a conversation you know they're
staring right at each other not you know
facing a chair over here and then having
the couch
you know face that way so you know
everybody's kind of strain your neck to
see one another but yeah I like that
I think that looks really cool let's
turn the rain off real quick and then of
course we have our chandelier looking so
fancy up there and I like the view the
view looks beautiful once we get all of
our powdered materials cleared away
build other houses throughout here
that's gonna be one cool of you bro
one cool view and we'll guys this has
