Hi, welcome here! Let’s see in this video, what is and how to use MacX Video
Converter Pro, in a few and short steps.

The software we are going to see is one of the best video converters for Mac
computers. First of all, this is not, at all, a simple video converter.
This software collects four main features. It is a video converter, as you
can see from its main window, but it is also a YouTube video downloader,
a video recorder and a slideshow maker. All-in-one inside this software.
When you open the software, the Video Converter is shown. Simply browse the
media file you need to convert and drag it into the software. This will be
added in the list. You can add more than a single file of course.
When you add the first media file, the Output Profile dialog box appears.
This lets you decide the final format the media file must have after the
conversion. On the left choose the right section: in General Profiles you can
choose your best video format between the full list available. In to Music you
can choose a sound format to export just the audio of the video added. Below,
you can choose any format inside Mobile Video Profile to export to a mobile
device, or Web Video Profile if you want to export your video on the net with
the right settings, depending on the website chosen. To choose the format,
just choose one on the right. Set the indicator to fix the right trade-off
between speed and quality. For example, if you choose HQ (High Quality), you
will obtain a better conversion, but you will have to wait more to see it
completed.
When you are done, just click on Done below.
Each file added is described inside, with its resolution, format and name.
On the right, all the properties of the final converted file. More on the
right, you can check the Preview. This shows a preview of the file selected
in the list. You can change the target format anytime clicking on the bigger
icon on the right. Use the gear icon to adjust settings much more precisely.
In case you want to remove any file from the list, just click on the bin
button on the extreme right.
The converted file will be saved in the Destination Folder shown below.
Click on Browse to set it.
When you are ready, just click on RUN! This will start the conversion of all
files in the list, following its order, from up to down. Use STOP to stop the
conversion.
You can even edit videos before converting them. If you click on the scissor
next to Edit, the Edit window appears. In General you can adjust the Audio
Volume, in Subtitle you can upload subtitles on the video, in Trim you choose
which part of the video to convert and export. In Crop & Expand you can set
which parts of the video must be visible. Remember to check Enable to start
editing. You can use Watermark to add text or images on the video as a
signature. You can also use the two buttons in the top right corner to
rotate or flip the final video.
The second main feature of this software is to download YouTube videos.
To open the YouTube Downloader, just click on the YouTube icon on top.
If you click on the first icon, you can paste the YouTube video URL and find
it clicking on Analyze. In the table below, you can choose the video resolution,
the respective size, and its format. Choose one and click on OK. This video
will appear in the list on the left. You can check the video on the Preview
on the right. Decide where to save the YouTube video by choosing the Target
Folder, and then go to Download Now! In case you want to return to the main
Video Converter window, just click on the red cross in the top left corner.
Just make sure to have nothing listed. Just click on Clear Finished.
Third main feature of this software is the ability to record videos. You can
click on video recorder on top to record videos from the external world,
using for example any webcam. If you click on screen recorder, you can record
a video from your computer screen, choosing the recorded area clicking on the
icon next to Record Region. In both video and screen recorder, you can click on
the main blue button to start recording; you can click on the gear button to
the Destination Folder where your video recorded is saved.
Even more, you can create simple slideshows very easily. If you have a
collection of images all inside a folder, simply browse it after clicking on
the second icon in the main window. In this way you will add in the list not
a video, but a full slideshow video, created using the images added inside.
The way you can manage this video is identical to a video to be converted:
you can use the Output Profile to set format and settings, the Preview to
check how the slideshow goes on, and so on. You can click on Edit to adjust
all settings of your slideshow, for example the transitions to use or the
duration of each slide. On the right you can add music or other photos
using the plus button. Remember that you can import photos by adding their
respective folder.
