How To Play a Blu Ray on Mac [2012]

today i want to show you a little video
tutorial on how to play blu-rays on max
now you have not seen very many videos
on youtube for playing max are sorry
playing blu-rays on max I have seen some
other foreign language ones but never
actually any proper english tutorials
now of course max do not come with a
blu-ray drive in them and they're not
really there to play blu-rays so what
you're going to have to do is you are
going to have to go you want to go to
google and type in blu ray mak player
you're going to go to the first link and
you'll come to this page here from Mac
go and you want to go you can download
it free or you can buy it is a 5995
dollar product and honestly it's
becoming a really good investment for me
i bought the program and it's it's it's
just great now you want to hit either
mac download or pc download and of
course
well if you're watching this video you
obviously want to know how to play
blu-rays on max so you're going to have
mac download and for the sake of it i
will hit download and download the
program so when you download that
program you are going to get the
installer when it is done and you're
gonna get the installer and when that is
then you're gonna want to open it and of
course
wait for it to open and ignore all the
prompts because well you want to open it
to be able to install it so you're going
to drag it into your Applications folder
i'm not going to do it because I've
already done it of course and after that
after it is installed you can open it on
up and also I must say first off you
must have an external blu-ray drive i
bought a samsung external blu ray jive
writer whatever is for 120 Canadian so
when I have that that is going now i'm
going to insert my blu-ray into the
drive
so did the blu-rays loaded in there and
now you have a little icon on your
desktop you want to open up mac blu-ray
player and you're going to get the
prompt for registering the program for
your computer so mine is of course
already registered so you're going to
get the registration and your
registration code and if you are only
using the trial you are going to have a
little watermark on the video when you
want to watch it saying
register now or whatever else it says
I'm not really exactly to share so you
can see we have saw the final chapter
blu-ray let's see if we can make it
wider to show you that it is blu-ray
blu-ray right there
so yes you can see it is a blu-ray movie
now i'm going to go to chapter and just
pick a chapter here and this may be a
spoiler if you have not seen this movie
so I apologize

phenomenal and maybe i will skip ahead

let's go into the beginning because i
was quite gory so you can see here the
picture quality is fantastic and yes so
that is based that that's not basically
that is how you do play blu-rays on a
Mac computer you must go to google type
in blu ray mak player or back blu-ray
player whatever you want it all comes up
the same you're gonna hit download and
then you can buy it
get your registration code and you're
good to go but there is one thing about
it you can see here if I do disconnect
from the internet and I go and I try and
open it up it is going to come and say
that it cannot authorize the disk or
cannot verify the server whatever what
is trying to do is authorize that is a
actual blu-ray legit disc i'm assuming I
don't know so for right now you can't
really say take your macbook on the
plane and watch a blu-ray on there
unless of course they have free Wi-Fi
but you can see here after i have
connected to the Internet
the disc will open and you are good to
go
