How to Export Contacts from iCloud

This video will show you how to export your contacts from iCloud, and convert the VCF files to a usable CSV file

Once you save your VCF file, use http://labs.brotherli.ch/vcfconvert/ to convert it from VCF to excel.

I just double checked the link, and it seems to work just fine. But you can try just the parent domain: http://labs.brotherli.ch and choose the top option that says VCF-convert.

hi folks and racine here in viral
marketing and today i want to show you
how to export your contacts from your
iCloud
so go ahead and once you log into your
iCloud account
we'll go ahead and view the home screen
here and we're going to go to the
Contacts tab and here is where you'll be
able to see your groups on the side here
we're just going to select all contacts
and then we're going to go down to this
little gear here and we are going to
let's see here
select this and we're going to click
select all we want to have all the
contacts here and we're going to select
that again
and the only options are to export this
as a vcard
now i'm going to give you a warning when
it exports his v card if you click that
it's going to open up each v card that
you have
it's going to open all 927 of those so
don't click that that icon there
we're going to do here is going to i'm
just gonna actually going to click and
hold and i'm going to drag it to my
desktop
ok and so now it's on the desktop there
but i did not click to open it
the next thing you want to do is I'll

it's an online vcard converter
it's labs . brother Li . CH /v CF
convert VCF is the format of a vcard
what this is a really convenient way
what you can do is convert from a vCard
file to an excel file that's usable to
import into our database
so we're going to go and choose a file
i'm going to select the desktop where
the item is and here is the file that I
just exported and we're going to click
open the next item is the format we
wanted to be a CSV not a gmail csv but
just a regular csv and the important
line here is you have a few options of
how to separate them
we want to separate them with a comma
okay and I check the box here to add
header lines and that is it so then
we're going to click convert and that
should be a pretty quick conversion and
once it does it pulls up the excel file
here
so now what this has it gives us the
first name make that the header gives us
these columns up here so no first name
last name
it gives us the home phone number of the
business phone number and it also gives
us the email address if there is indeed
one and this is a great format then you
can just save this file save it to your
desktop or a convenient place and you
can e-mail this over directly to us in
this type of format if you have any
