Welcome to Cleaver Film FX, this is my YouTube
channel where I bring production related tutorials
right to your doorstep quick and efficiently
as possible so let's get started. To open
this PowerPoint presentation in Illustrator
I have to do one thing first and that is actually
convert it to a PDF as far as I know you can't
just open it in Illustrator so I'm going to
export it in preview. I'm going to use PDF
as my setting, bingo and I'm going to close
it here and now I have it here as a PDF. So
let's go to Illustrator and open it there,
File, Open here we go and the thing that I
don't like about it is you can only select
one slide at a time which is a little frustrating
but the nice thing is that when you do open
it in the Illustrator it's separates automatically
all the different items that are there and
for whatever reason it actually gives a bunch
of extra items that typically are not visible
so really all you have to worry about are
the items that you can actually see something.
So for this instance it's the background there
with the title and there's this which I don't
know what this is it looks like that's just
in the background so anyway that's how you
do it. It allows you to do wonderful, beautiful
things in Illustrator and just gives you more
flexibility so if you enjoyed this please
hit like or subscribe and I appreciate you
watching. Thanks a lot!
