would you like to be able to create
business cards like this i'm going to
tell you some tips and tricks from the
tried i created these in just a matter
of minutes not just one of them but all
of them in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
in fact we just created a simple slide
and then we use that to create a
business cards would you like to see how
to do it
this is really so easy look i'm going to
show you the prices first and then you
can decide whether you want to watch the
rest of the video it's not going to be a
long video to see how to do it and that
why I'm not wasting your time if you're
not interested but this is really really
simple all you do is create one slide
like this and then simply once that
starts slide is created you export it as
an image and then import it into a table
now i'm going to show you how to do that
step by step
once one side slide is created
you can just simply go to the design tab
and scroll across and choose different
designs that will affect and give you
your business cats and that's all I did
for all those business cards that you
saw
I just inside new images with the
different styles to create you cats
look I'll show you how to do it let's go
through it together
so here we have a blank slide and this
is where we're going to start first of
all just remove the placeholders from
the slide
what I want you to do then is to go to
the design tab on the ribbon and open up
all the styles that are in there and
then choose the style that you want is
the style i chose that United says you
Harbor either
it shows you all the different lines
choose the one you want for your
business card
we got back to the one that I said
originally which is here
then what we need to do is think about
what we're going to put into a business
card
so here's the blank business card what
you must make sure of is that you set
the size of this slide up to be the same
aspect ratio is your business card now
business cards in Australia where I am
nine centimeters by five point five
centimeters now what you need to do is
while you're on the design tab just go
over to page setup and make sure that
this slide is set to custom so make sure
you choose custom at the bottom and then
put in landscape on the ride and set up
to 19 by 11
now I have business cards in Australia
and nine centimeters by 5.5 now rules
there but that's generally the size
so what I've done here is set this - 18
- 19 and in fact it should be 18
because they're nine centimeters doubled
his 18 + 5.5 double is 11 and then we
just simply click ok so now we have as
slide here exactly the same aspect ratio
as a business card and why is that
important
it's important because when you export
this an image you want to keep the
aspect ratio intact and that will save
distortion and loss of integrity in your
text
ok what are you going to put on the
business card well that's really up to
you i'll show you the business card i
have here
well I've done is just simply put in
here somewhere . now you know you can
convert text to to wear that very very
simply all you do is just go to the
insert tab and then choose where that
put your text in and then choose the
appropriate font that you want
now i'm going to place this particular
power point slide up on the website if
you want you can go along and download
and have a look at it you can even
change it to suit your needs if you want
and then follow the prices that honored
that to show you
so I just need a word out here with my
nine the name of what we do again is a
piece of where that and then two text
boxes one down here on the Left which is
air address block and whatever here on
the right which just tells people about
the services
that we might provide now that all vary
depending on what type of business kind
of setting up and he is an ugly pic in
the corner i put up as well
so once you've said this up to suit
yourself
all you do then is simply go to file
save and send change file type go to PNG
network graphics go to savers
now it's going to ask you where do you
want to save this to give it the nine
that you want
cited to whatever location you want to
use desktop so he's a desktop here when
they're citing the file to the desktop
and we just simply go outside and then
we're saying it says all slides or just
the current slide what we decide
current slide I'm ok now we've saved a
PNG image of that slide to a desktop now
this . if you want to do several
business cards from this all you would
do is go to the design tab again
however over until you find a business
card style that you like such as here
but let's say which is this one then go
to the file tab again and go Simon send
change file type p ng network graphics
side as well as a location
it's the desktop we need to give it
another name
so we just say called a business card
too and then we save that business can
very very simple current slide I only

so effectively this is a business card
template if we wanted to make changes in
the future we'd make it here and then
export the image of that business card
all right let's go hide in another
PowerPoint document and import these
images into a table
now here's the powerpoint slide open up
or the power point where all the
business cards have been important you
can see out here on the left
here are all the business cards so you
can click through them if you want and
have a look
this so simple to put in all you do is
create a table and drop them in and I'll
show you how to do that let's go to the
bottom will set a new slide and before
we do anything with this slide
i want to mention something to you first
of all remove the placeholders and I'll
just decrease the zoom here a little bit
so we're going to get it all on the page
now if the paper that you're going to
use or the cab that you're going to use
and you can get some cat very cheaply
from any of the piper stores around
hundred and sixty GM to say 200 to 300
gsm paper we use 300 if we can for their
cards and all you then do is set the
page size up a little bit different to a
normal power point slide sighs so let's
go to the design tab again and page
setup and i'll show you what it is
again it's a custom size you can choose
I for if you want to use I for paper
united says - 10 x 9 or 297 29.7 so we
would then change this here to see
thousand itself we wanted our with would
be 20 21 and their height would be 29.7
and it's portrait and go okay so that's
our paper size set up
now all we need to do is to insert a
table
so go to the insert tab choose table
she's insert table and we want a table
that's going to have basically four rows
and 2 columns so we'll go to Collins
four eyes and ok now over on the left
here we don't want to hit around and we
don't want banded rise
so I'm pick those boxes on the left hand
side just under five
now click on the outside of the table so
that it's highlighted and what I want
you to do then is to go to layout and
we're going to make the height of this
5.5 so I just keeps rolling up until you
hit 5.5 x 4 55 let's drag table back up
here now so we know we've got the right
height while it's still selected began
to make it nine centimeters wide or
whatever you want your business card to
be because that's what we want them here
in Australia to be the company I want to
work for want them to be that size any
right
okay now this is so simple it is dead
easy just what's this
this is fantastic just into that title
right click go up here to your little
toolbar that comes up automatically your
formatting toolbar click on that arrow
under the fuel button and choose picture
scroll to the location where you put
your picture and then when you found
your picture click on the picture and
click insert
now what's this click on the next slide
and then hit the f4 key click on the
next one and hit the f4 key and all of
your business cards are automatically
set up
it's not fantastic and all you need to
do is duplicate that if you wish
go to our next one and all you do is
right click yes and I and choose picture
if you wanted to try a dif that business
card this time we're goin choose a
different one
let's choose this red one and going said
clicking that the next slide hit the f4
key is sized simple and you can create
multiple business cards from the one
slide template that's a little trick
that we use
I wanted to pass it on to your gonna
save you hours of work and the beauty of
this is that it's kinda you can just
print this out and cut them straight up
with your killer team and you have
beautiful professional business cards in
