get enough credit for although some
people I know admire you for this Howard
is you do a terrific job interviewing
people and you get people to say things
that they don't want to talk about

I don't know exactly the reason for that
part of me thinks it's because we're on
the radio and there's not you know when
you talk on a show like this i think
this intimidates people you're reminded
that there's an audience and when radio
it's just the two of us and we're
sitting around and especially now in
satellite radio
I don't have to break for a commercial i
can sit there and talk with you and we
can kind of slip into this sort of
hypnotic kind of experience right where
we really think we're alone and i have
naturally curious i mean i am fast first
of all you look fantastic and I go how
she doing it like what are you doing to
look so good how are you are you going
with surgeon or you are you're not look
unbelievable and wonder that boyfriends
making out with you at the knick game
who can blame them
are there any people that you haven't
been able to convince to be on your show
that you really love to interview I'd
love to do an in-depth interview with
David Bowie Mick Jagger's another person
I've never been able to get on my show
surprise Mick Jagger hasn't said yes to
you i would think he would enjoy that
yeah and you know what though for years
I wouldn't ask anyone to do the show I
had this sort of feeling that if you
don't want to come on my show you don't
get in touch with me I won't get in
touch with you know brother and that's
crazy
that is great well that's why we only
had strippers on
the first once again and Todd had I had
a chip on myself shoulder I was like
well you know and and we would get some
interesting gas but finally like like I
I've been on the David Letterman Show a
million times and I love David but David
would never come on my show and I say
and someone said you wanted to contact
david letterman I'd say no way if Dave
wants to come on he'll come on
he knows I'm here he knows i'm doing a
show and of course he never came on you
know so it has he ever done the show he
did it once and I'd like him to come
back on you don't listen I take his side
in that hole jay leno feud
I hate jay i know i don't like I know
you down
I don't you but it was a personal thing
between the two about where must have
been because I yeah because you really
seem to be very angry angry and and have
this violent hatred toward him but
that's what you well yeah and you know
that's that's why I went to therapy
I'm so damn angry and I don't even know
why have the time you know it's it's a
violent and I'm angry over the stupidest
stuff who gets angry over Jay Leno yeah
why don't you let it go
I can't let it go that's it but you know
i'm i'm working on it by the time i'm
ninety i should be very common mellow
and apply some guy to be around you and
Jay are gonna live in a retirement home
together I don't know about the LA Live
