Memphis house fire leaves 3yo dead, Aunt just wants FOOD STAMPS???

10-21-09 Memphis TN. The two boys were left unattended while their mother and aunt left the house to go drop off a friend. The three year old died, the two year old is in critical condition. The aunt just wants her food stamps.

members try to cope with what happened
in South Memphis community to children

shortly before a fire broke out during
out search procedures are located two
small children those children were
transported to Levana hospital in the
Army in critical condition the two boys
were left unattended while their mother
and not left home to go drop off a

so we went to drop him I be home
sometime after that to 911 received a
call from neighbors saying the house was
on fire
pull it over we were later Harlan and
when she hardly water two kids within
the house meeting was called me on the
telephone and she would tell me the
house without a hassle start back and so
we were here we have to get here
neighbors say they heard screams coming
from a home and rushed to the back door
to try to rescue the two children
however when they got there the flames
and smoke were too powerful for them to
enter it would really hurt for their
kids are not hard by one for sure it was
kid I thought it was the radio so what
I'm trying to get in a hard to find a
flight i'm going to smoke push me back
out there were too strong i could see
not so when they pulled him out
it really hurt my heart that I couldn't
get all day they were just smoked like
rag dolls you know when they pick them
up the arms down the layers just hanging
in you know every better when it's all
emotional up or however the children's
aren't left the house with the mother
said that she has no regrets about
leaving the children home alone
I really don't know because I mean if
they had been everybody i said but I
don't know how to have got hot
