Fast Restore of Mailboxes and Messages in Microsoft Exchange 2007

we will begin by deleting a critical
message from our email client a common
occurrence in many enterprises
the subject line is purging order
we delete this not only from our inbox
but also from the Deleted Items folder
to restore it lost message we launch the
stock in store message recovery for
Exchange tool
it provides an easy to use wizard
interface the wizard opens and we
provide account information
with rights to access a change in Active
Directory we then select the mail store
that can change the mailbox as the user
that deleted the email
to restore the message we create
Recovery Storage Group
which we call our SG this loads the
mailbox data from the mail store we
selected earlier
we now have the option to restore all
the mailboxes
or only a specific mailbox in this case
we choose one mailbox
since they're looking for a single
message we also choose to merge the
recovered now with the existing email
if you are restoring many messages we
could choose to restore them to a new
folder in the user's inbox
now we have a number of options to
locate a specific message
we can restore message is based on a
date range by using keywords for subject
message content or both since we know
the Los message contained the word order
we search for that keyword next week
connect to the stock answer and SSR CDP
server that is protecting exchange
it displays a list of available disk
snapshot second-team previous images
that the mail store
which should contain a message we are
looking for
the system generates a snapshot image
which is mounted by the server as a new
volume
viewing a disc properties we see this as
a stock insert disk the restoration
process finishes
and we log back into the mailbox and
sitar our message urgent order is back
in the user's inbox
start to finish the entire process takes
only a few minutes
