hey guys this is chris and today we're
gonna be taking a look at the movie
slideshow creator i'm going to make a
short demonstration video using the
software just so you can see some of the
features of it and how it works
so if you want to follow along with me
you can download a trial version by
going to M ov trials . com that link is
also under this video if you click on it
will take you to this page and up the
top you'll see us as product you just
want to click that and you'll see
there's a slideshow creator once you go
there just click the download for free
button and you can download the free
trial to follow along now there are a
few restrictions or limitations with the
free trial and i will go over with those
with you as well so let's go ahead and
jump in the software and i'll show you
how it works
ok so here we are once you download and
install it this is the first screen
you're going to get i'm not going to go
over every single detail of the software
but i'm going to show you the main
features of it
so once you access that you want to see
here there's two different ways you can
create a slideshow the first is an easy
mode which is pretty much just a simple
add your files
add transitions and your audio export
and you're done
but what I want to do is I want to show
you how to do it using the full feature
mode which gives you additional options
now below that you'll see there is two
other buttons here how to create a
slideshow in the user guide as well as
advanced project setup and if you want
to click on that it will let you go
ahead and make adjustments to the video
size or the slider size what size you
want it to be as well as the audio i'm
going to keep mine at 1280 x 720 and i'm
going to go ahead and click on create
project and full-featured mode
it's just going to take me here to the
dash of the main dashboard here where I
can go ahead and import all of my media
files such as video audio and photos
it also allow me to record a video using
my webcam i can add folders of media
files or i can also record a screencast
directly off my screen and it will add
it to part of the slide show
so whether you're going to use the movie
slideshow creator for some kind of a
family event or if you want to use it
you know for like a wedding vacation or
even if you want to use it as a hobby to
create commercials for local businesses
you can do that as well it does offer
all those kind of features for you can
do that so
let's go ahead they do offer some of
their own sample audio video and
background files and you can download
additional ones by clicking the link
here where it says download more within
their software it will take you to my
believe it's like graphic stocks or
video blocks where you can subscribe
there and you can get unlimited videos
and and graphics and stuff to use for
slideshows also put the link for that
under this video if you want to check
those out what we're going to do is
click on add media files and i am going
to take my pictures my audio and my
video clip and put them all here and
it's going to put them down here on my
timeline and almost timeline you can see
it kinda ranges everything out and i can
zoom in i can zoom out depending on how
many files you have down here
it may help you out a lot more if you
zoom out so you can see everything
better
or if you just have a few like I do you
can zoom in so you can work with him
better
so this first clip here this is a video
file that i have of someone putting down
roofing it's only about 19 seconds long
which is way too long for what I'm
wanting to use it for so i can drag in
the sides to shorten the video clip
it's like this here or another way I
could do it is i can move this marker
anywhere I wanted to over the video and
click the scissors and when i do that
it's going to split the video and i can
simply click on the block that I want to
delete and then hit this little trash
can and it's going to get rid of it for
me and it came with the audio file you
can see right here underneath of the
video clip I don't want that so I'm
gonna delete that
so now what I have is a little video
clip here I have some photos here here
here and these two and this one is kind
of an intro image i made real quick just
to put together with it i'm going to
click on it and drag it to the beginning
of the slide show
so once we have this done you want to
see down here this is my audio file its
going to go along with the slide show
and it goes way past the slides so I'm
gonna have to zoom out and I can see it
in
and i just want to drag it clear back
here to wear slide show ends and then i
can double click on the audio file and I
can fade it out so we're the last few
seconds the volume goes lower and lower
until it fades out at the end it makes
it so much better in my opinion
ok so once we have this done we can do
additional things to the images such as
making like color adjustments and
cropping it rotating flipping zooming
and all of that i'm not going to do any
of that right now once you get in a
trial version you can go in here and
mess with this kind of stuff but over
here on this column you want to see
there are some other icons and this
first one was the one where we imported
all of our files
this one here will allow us to add
transitions in between each slide and
this one will give us the option to add
animated text to our slideshow for
example let's say this one here if you
click on it it's just going to kind of
show you a demonstration of what it
looks like with the background there and
there's many different ones they have
and then here are filters you can add to
your images such as balloon
means and you can add some really crazy
things on their gifts and ghosts
hot air balloon so if you want to make
kind of a just a fun or crazy slideshow
you have the option to do that with
using these kinds of filters
now back here at the transitions we can
add those in between each of the slides
by just clicking on them and dragging
them down for example here's one cube if
i click on it you can see how it kind of
rotates and like a little box and what I
want to do is click on it hold it down
and drag it in between my first and
second image here and let's make this
bigger so we can see it so this here is
our transition and i want to add another
transition in between this one and this
one so we'll go down I really like the
zoom in and out so we'll do a zoom in
click it and drag it and just place it
right there and then I can add
additional ones in between these and
what I'm going to do though you'll
notice right here there is a little
button or little icon and if you have
roses add transitions to all clips if
you have a lot of clips and you don't
want to take the time to drop and drag
clips in between each one
you can just click this button and it
will say use this transition style for
all clips and you can get down through
here and pick out if there's just a
certain one you want to use or you can
use random transitions and it will ask
you what you want the transition
duration to be two seconds each
and a slide duration will make four
seconds each and click OK and it
automatically applies these transitions
in between each one
so my audio I'm gonna have to readjust
it again i'm going to click on it and
you'll notice too that whenever you're
working on anything down here in your
timeline
make sure that you click on it and it
turned yellow
for example you can see down here i'm
working on the audio i have a cliq
there's yellow box around it
so if I want to work on this image click
on it the yellow box appears
because sometimes if you don't do this
and if you come up here and use your
scissors
you may end up clipping something that
you don't want to clip out so just make
sure you always have the right image
video or audio selected before you go up
here and make changes to it
ok so we have that done so what we can
do now is take is clear back to the
beginning
i'm going to press play and we're gonna
watch it and see what happens

ok and so there it is it took me just a
couple minutes to put all these together
at my transitions effects to it
and of course we can do a lot more to it
if we just take some more time but i
just wanted to show you guys the basics
of how it works and the features of it
and with all the images and things that
you drop down here on your timeline if
you double-click on and it's going to
give you the options to come up here and
make edits to them adjust them and with
each one you can also come up here and
you can add text to it you can add
additional filters to him to kind of
make them stand out even more and down
here is also a narrator button or what
they call of a voice over and if we
click that what it's going to do is
allow us to record while this video is
playing and then it will save the audio
to our slide show and this is really
good especially if you're making some
kind of a training video tutorial video

you can let it play and just kind of
talk as it's playing through so you know
everything that you're saying is meeting
up directly with each slide that you're
making so now with this trial version
when you're done making your video and
you want to export you get down here and
click on export and it's going to give
you a pop-up warning that says the words
trial version will be overlaid on all
exported videos only half the length of
audio files exported and a trial period
is also for just seven days
so what you can do is you can either
click by activation key and it's going
to redirect you back to movies website
where you can go and purchase the
product or you can click continue and
trial mode and go ahead and export the
file but the problem with that is you
really
it's almost worthless to kind of use it
because they have trial version laid
over top of it and only half the length
of the audio file is exported so it's
kind of really worthless unless you do
purchase it but i don't know if you've
ever been out there looking for many
different software programs that make
slideshows but most of them are very
expensive and this one here is by far
one of the most affordable ones i found
that offers the features that it does
and so if i go and click on trial mode
here you're going to see the options we
have of exporting this video
yeah right now it's on the save as video
tab and we can click this drop-down box
and save it in many different formats
and see here even as a DVD or avi mov
whatever it is you want to use it for
you can also just save the audio only
you can save it for Apple devices
Android devices other devices such as
blackberries kindles une Sony's
PlayStation xboxes and so one as well as
if you click on uploading online you can
upload it to youtube it will save it as
a different file types different quality
here depending on what you wanted as so
