first thing I'm going to do is find a

the audio so how do i save the audio
will be setting up the first thing I
need to do is I need to be able to
record from my computer speakers record
with the computers playing basically
instead of recording from microphone
when I want you to do is go to the
bottom right icon we going to scroll my
little thing there maybe you can see it
i want you to click this icon if you
don't have a volume icon just go clock
ahead and click this if you still don't
see it i'm going to show you a few steps
to get it
I want you to go to start settings
control panel and I want you to scroll
down to sounds and audio and here you
can check the little box that says place
volume icon in the taskbar but clicking
advance will open it anyway so you're
right where you need to be okay so now I
have this thing and as you can see
there's no button that says enable for
recording from computer speakers or
anything that's not even a microphone
button i want you to go to options
properties and if recording is in
able to i want you to click recording I
want you to switch it if it's not and
switch the mixer device and then I want
you to check stereo mix and click ok so
now we have stereo mix options as you
can see here we have the microphone and
we do have something called stereo mix
which is what i wanted you to see stereo
mix is actually the thing that record
from your computer speakers so enabling
it will cut my mic and start recording
from the sounds of computer produces and
it doesn't have to be the video it can
be any i am any sound playing in the
background so any sound your computer is
generating it will be recorded with
stereo mix now I need a sound recorder
not a lot of people know about stereo
mix so I just go to start run i'm going
to type snd record 32 so it sound record
32 snd re c32 i click ok and it opens my
sound recorded this is built in windows
app comes with your Windows computer so
now i can record and that's what i'm
about to do but keep in mind that it's
going to cut my night so i'm not going
to say anything for a while but here's
the steps i'm going to enable stereo mix
i'm going to record from that from the
sound recorder and then i'm going to
click play on this video
okay here we go

ok I got my mic back but as you can see
the sound recorder recorded was being
played and i can scroll back and I can
play back to you so you can see the
sound quality isn't diminished any

it captured it perfectly so now I just
go to file save and it lasts me to save
as a WAV file that's the only limitation
of sound recorder it ask you to save as
the wav so you won't be getting it in
mp3 format and you can't convert unless
you use another program so if you want
to convert mp3 i recommend you search
download audacity and don't get the beta
or you can search download audacity or
goldwave goldwave says it costs fifty
bucks or something but it's not true you
can download it you can save it and it
gives you a hundred and fifty filters
that you can I mean a hundred and fifty
uses like different filters and edits
you can apply before it starts nagging
you about registering so just going to
file save as it will never allow you for
converting a mp3
I mean wav files into wave audacity is
completely free it's open source so you
can see the source code and all that
stuff
it's a really nice web app so there's

be sure to record your favorite sounds
you can even record your friends and
your friends video and then when they
call you on the phone you can playback
something they said so they can get
freaked out or something

can remix music or whatever again has
