How to recover data from usb and external hard drive

hello and welcome back to the story
about um I productions and happened
today i'll be showing you how to fix
errors but USB external hard drives
memory card for phones and also SD card
for cameras at these error are common
errors which is the reason I make story
also that I can cover everything I can
to fix and recover data from a USB so
first of all let's go side by what's the
most common thing that you can do or the
first thing you can do when you get
errors like these
the first thing i will recommend you do
for external hard drives and USB is to
plug your USB and back into the port
that you previously been using in what
this will do is this will allow to make
sure that it's not a driver problem
because it is a driver problem then it
shouldn't occur on the drive that you've
been using it on
so try it in the same old port use use
the user in now the second method for
this would be to run a disk check
so to do this press star bone and
prototype in command and when you type
in command

click one as administrator
when you're running the command from as
an administrator in here type in chk
tsk and after that you need to type in

your drive letter
so for driver for my USB which is
causing the problem is G make sure
discredit letters correct otherwise you
might end up messing around with the
drive that you don't want to
so type in G and that a colon and the
space forward slash now this here you
have two options but you can run both of
them they both beneficial for us baby
its type in F which removes all the
arrows on the disk or r which recovers
or locate all the bad sectors and repair
them
so if you try both of them and see which
one works for you
for me it doesn't look like none other
than work so i have to try the other
option
now my USB Drive is actually exactly
brand-new and that's a mess around with
it for this arrow to come up so there
wasn't really much data on it but I'm
still going to try and recover a few
pictures that had on that
so I'm going to cancel this now the
final options do you have is to use
third-party software
I've given the download link in the
description for both of these so feel
free to download from the data
differently
the first one is free you can actually
go on their website and download
yourself is find amount if you double
click on that part fish and find amount
will open up
what this does is this can you drive and
makes and select the partition and makes
an iso file to be able to mount which
will demand and then you'll be able to
recover the data from there
so if i click scan I'll give you three
options intellectual normal and thorough
the first one is the fastest one second
one is normal and the last one is the
longest
so this will scan through every sector
and I'll search for every valid
politician
it combined but this one takes a lot
longer depending on how big your drivers
last time around this on a 500gb hard
drive and it took me about two hours so
if I just run an intellectual on my USB
complete but I didn't find any partition
because of to be honest i've only used
one so far
so if that doesn't work for you can try
the second option and it's probably my
favorite one is us data recovery
so I love the supper because i've used
it before many times and it's never let
me down so far
so if you get something for recycling
bin make sure you're running the
software on a drive with your not going
to be running a test . so if you're
gonna be running a test will see dr make
sure this is installed a G drive for
your external hard drive
because if you install it and running on
the same Drive then it will cause you
problems when recovering data and you
can even crop kill you
your memory so the second option you
have is two and what's this one
files lost due to format so if you
format your drive
you can do that and the final one is
partition recovery what this is is this
looks through the whole partition and
grabs everything you can from it so i
usually like running partial recovery
what they will do is will give you
options to what kind of file you want to
recover
I like to select all now give you
options on which tried to run it on
I want to run on this USB 2.0 g-drive if
you're not sure which one it is
check the drive letter go on computer
and make sure it's the right one
so when she is correct click and click
next now this will run a scan through
the the drive and I'll see what I can
find
if you want to get this on a 500 gb or
1tb this can take you run about eight
hours to five hours depending on how big
your drivers but this is usually the
best option to recover your data after
recovering data copy it somewhere else
and then format your drive and copy it
back so that is pretty much the three
options that you have or recovering data
from a USB from your memory card from
your
SD card for your camera etc apart from
