remotion breathtaking i love man
it's a serene place where for 50 weeks
of the year the pace of life can only be
called relaxed but for the other
fortnight
it's mad dangerous and deadly motor
racing legend mark skaife is about to
take us full throttle to the most
thrilling motorcycle race in the world
to make the men and women who risk
everything in pursuit of two-wheeled
glory
it is absolutely just beyond your
wildest dreams to think that you could
come here racing motorcycle
all the man today is like night vision
this is all this - something race in the
world
you can stay on the footpath and you can
literally reach and touch your heart is
gone past that close to 200 miles and
out

Ozzy rider Cameron Donald is one of over
200 starters this year
and when you add the fans it's like an
invasion
with Cameron is his girlfriend Karen
herself a cane motorcyclist they've been
planning for the rice all year
so is this normal nervous start tension
kind of me always just before

usually like to have this done . for
everything about the time we finish like

tomorrow so what's Karen still in this

Cameron grew up in warren diet in
Victoria it was he's dead can you
introduce him to the thrill of the
two-wheeler lots of black photos not

village i look at it it took up a lot of
time from a young age

first of all let me say it's great to
see a great australian a great race
to answer your question mark i first
came here in 1925 are born in 1923 my
father one here
I don't know how many times I've been
here many many many times these 88 years
Mary Walker has seen some very good
riders and impressing him this year is
our Z rider camera
he's got a good bike he's got some good
backing and he still got the most
important race of the week to come so
maybe hopefully you'll get it done
each time Cameron sits out is an
exercise and courage
each lap is an anxious one for Karen to
get to radio updates on his progress
see the worry and I face before i head
out for ice and sometimes I feel a
little bit guilty of putting people
close to me through that stress
in the week i was there seven people
lost their lives three riders and for
members of the public
ACU events limited regret to announce
the death of Derek Brian of lost a
couple of friends and in my use writing
the other man i do think of them in the
corners that they are their fallen in
and we're dodgy crashed is one of the
most intense corners on the track
dobbsy Paul Dobbs died in the TT
last year he lost his life to this water
he loves like sir
just one day I made Paul was buried on
the island leaving behind his wife and
two daughters
so what did you love about him and got
everything
I see
bridget is Paul's wife a year on
she's bought the girls back to remember
their dead at the rice
he loved
you know it's risky course you do I mean
you know everyone loves those photos of
riders heads this far from the Stonewall
you know obviously the reason you love
those photos you think oh my god it's so
close you know that some it's it's you
know other people have said that you
only really know that you're alive when
you almost not
some are just plain lucky to survive
like , commons dr nationally see you
know where it's all gone wrong
disappeared over the side and the way I
look at it I swear
you know the injury started happening
and so does get you a little bit

start for me as your opinion of the TT
changed based on what happened

there's hardly any the TT is simply
about the glory of being the fastest and
for Cameron it was a glorious week and
he's chosen rice super box
he was just fit for first and second
still feel pretty good

I don't see it to fire why i never saw a
racing the other man is a long-term
prospect because look at his side
dangerous and I do say there's a numbers
game
if you keep coming back sooner or later
