Push install to client workstations using ESET Remote Administrator(4.x)

This tutorial demonstrates how to push install to client workstations using the ESET Remote Administrator Console. You can read a full Knowledgebase article on this topic here:

STEPS:

1. Download and install ESET Remote Administrator and ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

2. Set up your Mirror server.

3. Create an installation package (containing your ESET product and a configuration .xml file).

4. Push installation package out to client workstations.

click Continue
to begin open the east and Remote
Administrator console
and click the remote install tab
in the remote install tab click actions
manage packages to open the installation

click download from web to do sell
if you have already downloaded an

navigate to the location at the East

select it

review the details at the security
product you selected

next click save as
enter a name for your installation
package
and click Save
in the installation packages editor
window click
close
in the remote install
have at the East Remote Administrator
console select the client workstations
you would like to push your installation
package out too
right click the selected workstations
and select push installation
in the computer log on Settings window
you will need to enter the credentials
for each if the client workstations
you are pushing a package out to if the
credentials are the same across
olive the client workstations involved
click set all
if log on credentials are different for
each client workstation
then it is necessary to manually enter
the credentials
for each to do so select a client
workstation
and click set
enter the username and password for the
client workstation
then click okay
click Next to continue
in the package Settings window verified
that the correct installation package
is selected
then click Next
in the task settings window review the
details that the task
and click finish to begin pushing the
installation package
out to the client workstations you've
selected
to check the status of your push
installation task
click the Install tasks tab
right click the installation tasks
and select task details
click OK to exit
