uh with guitar jams . com once again I'm
hanging with you know one of my best
friends lewin he's got a YouTube channel

alright so the you know the
finger-picking thing there's obviously
lots of different patterns but I'm the
best one to start out with I think you
know it's nice and simple and it starts
you know all that's all right hand stuff
if you're a right-handed player and it's
basically the strings are 5 2 for 3 and
that's the pattern so if i do it
this
i'm using my thumb and my middle and
ring finger to do that
you know that's what's most comfortable
for me
you know use one finger comfortable for
you but so it's basically 52
for
three that's the whole pattern if I do
it with a C chord sounds like that
right
now one thing you can do to sort of
spice it up a little bit is you can
alternate this finger the third finger
so you can alternate between C and G you
know so you get sort of like that
baseline going
so you can see that you know so instead
of going back to the 5th string every
time i'll have to switch to the below e
to the six
that's what it is but otherwise it's
just this on the right hand
that's the thing to remember is that
it's nice and straight
now the one thing you can do so this is
one see one thing i like to do and I do
use this one a lot just kinda sounds
really cool because you can wind it up
and do D&D seven
right like that had my little finger
there
77 but if i do the same pattern with the
moving baseline and then also spread it
up to this
six string up here for the first ring
sorry
it sounds like this
oh . that means i just went the C&G
which I i know you guitar jams people
know those courts so but the real key to
it is just this right hand technique is
this

with that décor that I was doing before
the what my right hand is doing is
exactly the same as on the sea

that's pretty much it you know just as
long as you can remember 5243 you're
good
this is one of the most common finger
picking patterns and you know the song
