hi today we're going to show you how
quick and easy it is to set up our new
wireless network cameras yellin see 100
series to make it a little bit more
interesting
we're going to time it right here to get
started so we have to power in first
we'll plug the camera in like so i have
a power cord back here now it's plugged
in can tell that the powers and by that
red LED power status was two ways to
connect this camera over the internet
through ethernet so its direct wire via
Wi-Fi
let's get it to the ethernet first plug
into the ne T port in the back of the
camera like the other end directly to
the router like so now we'll know that
this is connected to the network with a
blue LED over here a nice solid blue LED
now we know the cameras connected to the
internet less connected the camera so i
have my iphone over here and i'm going
to open the Lord's ping app which I've
already downloaded from the iphone store
okay now all i have to do is add this
camera to my cameras or activate the
camera very simple because we have a QR
code on the back i'll press the QR code
button on the app get nice and close
scan that QR code boom have been
recognized just plug in the password by
default its lorex once you do that is
going to prompt you to add one of your
own passwords so it's nice and secure
once that happens I'll just press the
camera
loading the video and here it is
straight from you i like that take
ok so now let's connect it via Wi-Fi so
we've connected already to the network
now that's a simple model just changing
the camera settings on the Lord spin out
so all i have to do is press the blue
arrow ok go to camera settings there's
an authentication just admin all
lowercase
there's no password needed ok i'll be
logging into the camera settings about a
network of Wi-Fi network gonna probably
get the settings or scan for the
wireless networks around I see might
have my cisco router there so I'll press
the cisco router and if there's a
password protection i'll need to put
that password in but I don't need to
over here so it's perfect i know it's
already connected
saved it now unplug the ethernet cable
and the cameras going to reset itself
and its going to try and find that Wi-Fi
saying so you can see that the leds are
flashing up and down once it discovers
that Wi-Fi setting will go a nice solid
blue LED i'm going to go back over here
to my camera on the painting over here
in a few seconds while it locates that
Wi-Fi setting now I can also view this
at the same time on another device such
as an android so here we go blue solid
not going to connect it to the cameras
locating and handshaking and it's loaded
the video just like that now it's on the
Wi-Fi no wire connection how long that
takes simple under three minutes
