WM capture makes it really easy to
create beautiful high quality dvds that
you can watch on a widescreen TV from
anything that you see streaming online
i'm going to show you how easy it is to
set up the program and create a DVD
using this really unique screen capture
program
the first thing I want to do is click
the Settings button under video settings
i want to click the drop-down menu and
click DVD
I don't want to choose whether I'm in
the United States or not and if I want
widescreen or not
the next thing that pops up is a dialog
box that basically lets me know how to
maximize the performance of my computer
so that i get the best absolute quality
of my recording and what it's saying is
that i want to set up my computer for
best performance instead of best
appearance and so the way I do that is I
close this go to tools windows best
performance down here
it brings up this window and I click
adjust for Best Performance apply and ok
the last thing I need to do is adjust my
recording time
WM captures default recording time is
set for an hour and most movies are a
little longer than that i am going to
set it for two hours and 10 minutes and
then i click close
so now I just have to go online and find
myself a stream that I want to record
so here i am on amazon instant video
about to start watching the movie
notting hill with Julia Roberts and I've
positive so that i could set up WM
capture to record just the recording
window it's very simple to do all i do
is go into the dubian capture user
interface click get window
hover my mouse over the player window
click on it it has defined the recording
area by this green box and that's
actually slightly bigger than I want to
make it smaller i'm just going to bring
it down here and get it so that it's
literally just going to record the exact
area that's playing the video
there we go that's it so now what I'm
going to do is just rewind a tiny little
bit
there we go click record here
click Play and I'm ready to go so once
the movie is finished playing and I
stopped recording it's really easy for
me to find my file all i have to do is
click view it brings up the save
recording window
she's right here and here's my file
nodding hell in order to burn it onto a
disk to make it play in a DVD player
I need to right click go to DVD make DVD
files and it brings up this little
window
you're going to see it's moving pretty
quickly it doesn't take long at all for
it to create the DVD files i need to
burn to DVD so it is now finished making
my DVD file so i'm going to go ahead and
pop in a blank DVD so as soon as I
approached the blank DVD into my pc this
window comes up and yes I want to burn
files to disc using Windows Explorer
then this window comes up and yes I want
to click the second one so that i can
use my disc with a CD DVD player and
then is asking me which files i want to
burn so I go to videos and there is not
inhale and then it click it open and
there's both the audio and the video GS
file so i just click burn
once i click burn to disc it brings up
this window
I type in
adding yeah and now it's burning to disc
and my DVD is finished and it is
beautiful
