Book Scanner: First Prototype

The program was written in ad-hoc manner without thinking about publishing the source code. It's just a mess. But hopefully you can see what's being done.

First prototype of my DIY book scanner. Left and right pages are extracted from an image sent from a single DSLR camera. Page perspective is reliably detected using 8 fiducial markers placed on the platen.

This is just for testing the image processing algorithm. I still need to configure the camera and lighting. I might build a page flipping mechanism in the future if I'm in the mood.
