Webcam Motion Detection

The webcam motion detection projects seen in the video:

1. Window Wiper - Uses detected motion to erase a foreground image.

2. Touch Cube - Measures motion and guesses the intention of the user to either spin or zoom in on the cube.

3. Touch Globe - Same as TouchCube except the cube is replaced by a globe and stars are added to the background. (I wish the Google Earth or Virtual Earth team would make a version like this. I'm interested to see how they would tackle this problem, or if this type of interface is even adaptable to geospatial software.)

4. Ping Pong - Measures movement and moves the ping pong paddle accordingly.

5. Soccer Juggle - Physical objects interacting with virtual objects (in this case a virtual soccer ball) via motion.

6. Sixty Four - Pixel conversion of a webcam feed into one of sixty-four ASCII characters depending on pixel value.
