Classic Game Room reviews ALIEN TRILOGY for Playstation PS1 from Acclaim and Fox Interactive Studios, a first person shooter featuring Aliens from the Alien movies and firepower like the pulse rifle and flamethrower! While not the exact storyline from the original 3 Alien movies, Alien Trilogy borrows characters and elements as you battle your way through aliens, face huggers and infected humans through levels inspired by the 1979 Alien, 1986's Aliens and that other one.... Alien 3. (Hooray, no Alien Regurgitation or whatever it was...) Play as Ripley and waste suckas with the Pulse Rifle and other weapons in Alien Trilogy for PS1. This CGR review of Alien Trilogy has gameplay from Alien Trilogy on Playstation. Alien Trilogy is also available for Sega Saturn and PC.

its alien trilogy for the original
PlayStation a game with a degree of
hopelessness and futility that you'll
only find in one of the movies on which
it is based the entire time I was
playing it I kept saying to myself don't
go out like Spunkmeyer go out like
Hudson
because like one of the characters in
the movies even if you make it through
you're still going to end up dead in
sequel or at the very least cloned into
something horrible and then forced to
act alongside one owner rider
fortunately they had the good sense to
cut this game off before it was a
quadrilogy
you're better off using harsh language
in this game because the weapons are
pretty much useless and you'll
constantly run out of ammunition and run
into and get hung up on everything in
your way combined with a constant sense
of fear and dread alien trilogy captures
the feeling of the movies perfectly even
if it's not a great first person shooter
by modern standards
this is one for serious fans of old
school shooters like doom and
wolfenstein it doesn't make it easy for
you even when you do a great job and
blow up an alien right next to you your
sprayed with acid and killed
you don't just respond refreshed and
renewed with a full stock of ammunition
you have to restart the level half dead
and broke
we're Spassky will last longer than you
do
overall alien trilogy is pretty solid
it's just really really hard and
requires repeat gameplay sometimes from
the very start of the game to get
anywhere you definitely want to memorize
where the aliens are coming from because
they're hard to bring down the pistol is
completely worthless and you'll want to
rely on all of the other weapons instead
like doom this game is incredibly cheap
it'll drop aliens out of the ceiling
onto your face open doors behind you
filled with aliens and basically try to
destroy you at any given moment
yeah
all that being said it has a degree of
challenge into difficulty rarely seen in
modern shooters that can be overcome
with repeat gameplay and memorization to
stockpile your ammunition health and
play each level perfectly but even then
that's hard to do because the fact is
the aliens move faster than you do
there's one very important thing to
remember while playing this game though
you are a human or at the very least a
synthetic they're just animals and you
have cheat codes
make these said ET wannabes pay with
their lives
because it wouldn't be alien without a
flamethrower or a gun mounted to a
Steadicam
while the storyline doesn't match the
movies exactly they use elements from
all three of the films and that's the
kind of stuff that makes it all
worthwhile i thought the game was more
fun to play with unlimited ammo to be
honest but if you're up for the
challenge then just ignore the cheat
codes
it only seems fair to me if they have
acid for blood you should be allowed to
use cheat codes to destroy them
the overall level design in alien
trilogy is quite good
the music is excellent alien trilogy is
for old school shooter fans who are also
fans of the aliens movies and will enjoy
all of the references and meticulous
attention to detail

the playstation 3 you can save your
games and there's even a password system
so if you really get stuck you can find
those codes online

Joe alien trilogy is relatively easy to
find it's affordable it's a big game and
its really really challenging
by the time you're done playing this
game you'll wish you were fighting
predators with plastic scissors and a
stick of glue
at least they don't spray with acid when
you shoot them they just be just
laughing
