How to Create a Photo Slideshow with Windows DVD Maker

This tutorial will explain how to quickly make a DVD photo slideshow complete with basic menus, using Windows DVD Maker.

Windows DVD Maker is a free application available with the Premium and Ultimate editions of Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

It allows you to create a slideshow from a set of digital photos with a choice of menu options. Once you've configured your slideshow you can burn it straight to a blank DVD (DVD+R, DVD-R or DVDRW).

photo slideshow with windows DVD maker
now windows DVD maker is included with
the premium and ultimate editions of
Windows Vista and Windows 7 and if
you've got installed it should be living

and the first step is to add out photos

then i'm going to click Change style
then i'm going to click slideshow to
configure the slideshow sentence now
this is where if you want to you can
click add music browser an mp3 file and
then add a song that will play in the
background of your slideshow and it
tells you how many minutes of music
you've added and how long your slideshow
knees so that you can easily add enough
music to cover the length of your
slideshow
now here you can specify how long each
photo stays on the screen before it
moves on to the next one so i'm going to
set that 27 and you can set the
transition that happens between photos
so i'm going to set that to resolve this

and what it's doing now is creating my
DVD including the raising of the
rewritable just putting sorry the
Disco's always been into writing now few

spinach writing disk now you can either
make another copy of this disk by
putting in another and blank or the
vital desk i'm going to click close to
you back into the program and you've got
another opportunity of saving your
