tsa locks are great for a few reasons
you get to set your own combination and
the three separate dials make them easy
to open versus a standard single dial
pad lock and airport security agents
have a universal key so that they don't
need to cut your lock in this video we
will show you how to set your own
combination and operate your tsa lock
let's start by setting your own
combination all tsa locks come preset
from the factory with the combination
000 pull out the shackle and turn it
halfway around to a 180 degree position
then push it down while holding the
shackle down turn it one quarter turn in
either direction set the dials to a
combination of your choice choose
something that will be easy to remember
like your area code address for birthday
we're going to set this locks
combination to 123
now turn the shackle back to the 180
degree position and pull it up
turn the shack go back to its original
position and press down placing the
shackle into the hole it should not lack
press the shackle down into the hole
again and this time changed the
combination
it should like now
turn the dials to the new combination
you just set unlocking your tsa lock is
as easy as 123
