lots of mistakes a podcast episode 1762
randomly distribute to 10 people you
look back at mister to the cast time
bill John today's questions and by
earthworm 82.8% YouTube has a hundred
Rosa day they want to distribute them
among 10 people randomly
ramming appear one way to go take the
ten people over here there's my list
and then equal index alright the list
the people most like that was to my
purse
F Ford put the dollar signs in those are
really important and then
ran between one
common and then the number people the
list there's 10 people is a heard code
that right there
control enter and double click copy that
doubt
you now one problem that we're gonna
have about anytime that you change
something in this list
the whole thing's going to recalculate
so you want to copy those
and pay special thanks to control see
the copy
and then all right click and paste
values hi
now it's still not be perfect because as
ramps a some percs people much up nine
times
some people might show up eleven times
let's see just how bad it is insert
pivot table or create right here in
existing worksheet and I'm gonna take
the assigned to you too row labels
an assigned to the values who
who CC's going you're upset you're in
got 60 these leads and
high and i got 14 wow I never would've
thought it would've been
that bad arts at that method is not
going to work at all
hop Bama accurate alright let's do this
equal
index up this list over here F-four
comma the mod
up row comma 10 plus one
CC
and what they should do for us is it
should just give us the whole list
over and over and over again I and we're
actually starting their CC but that's
okay cuz we should end up with bow and
we do
alright at this is not randomly
assigning them what it is doing is
making sure that everybody is in there
and identical number of times summit
separate this a couple up %uh spaces
add a new column here called rand equal
land
and shoot that down as assigns a random
number
I'm now going to sort by that column
data a tizzy
all right said that randomly assorted
everybody and delete this
and delete these and we now have
a hundred leads everyone is randomly
assigned to a different person
and if we do the pivot table test again
this time with
assigned to an bro labels and assigned
to in values damn everyone eggs
exactly 10 thats the way to go
for him i think im stopping by to see
you next time brother Doug Kass
