How to Batch Resize Multiple Images in Photoshop

How to batch resize images, resize groups or multiples image files at once in photoshop using the Image Processor tool.

sometimes you are going to have a bunch
of jpegs that are these huge dimensions
and you want to put into your website
that you upload pictures like that their
website they're going to slow it way
down
so you're going to want to resize all
these and going and individually would
not be very fun
so what I'm going to show you how to do
is resize them all at once using a tool
in photoshop called image processor
so what you're going to do is you're
going to go file scripts image processor
and you're going to choose your folder
little it allowed resize all the images
in that folder someone who's this folder
and essentially all you have to do to
make sure that these are resized
it's just use check this resize to fit I
just usually do 1200 x 1200 that's a
pretty good size for web
it'll keep the original aspect ratio
that you had it will just make it fit
inside a box that big i set the quality
of 10 when i'm doing web
otherwise it just do 12 so after that
you just click run and it's going to go
through and resize every image and it
doesn't take very long at all
all right so that took about 10 9
minutes on this kind of old computer so
on a newer computer without a screen
recording also running that would
probably take just two or three minutes
so in the bottom of your folder now
you'll find a JPEG folder or if you
chose a different file type it would be
something else but you just have all the
pictures in there
same file names but they are the right
size and as you can see they retain
their aspect ratio from mode
