Shapes for kids children grade 1. Learn 3D shapes (geometric solids) with Choo-Choo Train - part 1

"Learn 3D shapes (geometric solids) with Choo-Choo Train - part 1"
is an educational cartoon for preschoolers and children grade 1.

In this video Choo-Choo train carries 3d shapes (geometric solids) to the same construction site as we've seen in the previous cartoon about 2d shapes https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotat...

He not only names each 3d shape, but wonderfully explains its properties, and teaches kids how to distinguish this geometric solid from other solids. Choo-Choo shows how you can trace 3d shapes in order to see what polygons are in their bases. Children will learn such terms as polygon, base, apex, edges, and will learn about different types of pyramids and prisms (square, pentagonal, hexagonal, and octagonal).

This cartoon is also suitable for preschoolers because of the exciting action and cute Choo-Choo talking face.

Enjoy beautiful 3D animation and nice background music.

me again
yeah
yeah
yeah
ok
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
you want
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
hello friends
last time we studied 2d shapes and we
decorated children's playground with
them
what
I'm going again to the construction site
and i'm carrying along new pieces of
which the gates of the playground will
be composed
would you like to take a look at my very
important cargo
today in like ours there are three
dimensional shapes they are also called
geometric solid
let us memorize both names
3d shapes have volume with that is they
take up space
therefore you cannot stop them one
opponent of it as we did with the 2d
shapes
yeah
let's take a closer look at the 3d
shapes
I think everybody knows the name of this
geometric solid
what is it called
that's right it's a cube
we are familiar with this sheet because
we have all played with blocks
now we'll put the cube on a sheet of
paper and trace it
what do we get
that's right at the square that we have
to remember that a square is a 2d shape
while the cube is a 3d shape
do you know this shape
has a very difficult name
a rectangular prism
let us say together rectangular prism
it is also
all the cuboid
why rectangular we all see
look we have put our prison on the sheet
of paper and we have traced it and we've
got a rectangle
if you put such a prison with any other
facedown you get a rectangle
- what does a rectangular prism look
like like a box and just like boxes
rectangular prisms can be very different
do you know the name of the shape
it's a pyramid
do you recognize these pyramids
that's the right these are the great
pyramids in Egypt
what do we see if we put a pyramid on
the sheet of paper and traces bottom
a square
this type of pyramid is called the
square .
yeah
maybe there's a triangular pyramid
here it is
any polygon can be a bottom or more
precisely a base of a pyramid
then we will see a pentagonal hexagonal
or are tagging oh .
what if the base of a pyramid is not a
polygon
but the circum
then it is not a pyramid anymore
this shape is called the cone let's play
a game
can you find the cones among pyramids
right
the sheets are cones
they can be distinguished also when
their lateral area
a pyramid has edges
but the cone does not have them but
there is a similarity between these
shapes both the cone and the pyramid
have a base and in apex
yeah
yeah
look here to our cones and pyramids
where do you see the pyramids right
these are the roofs of the houses
yeah
the
yeah
look closely are all the real experiment
shaped know he our roof set our other
sheets and where can you see the cones
it is true on the towers of the castle
are you familiar with this 3d shape
this is a cylinder
yeah
a cylinder has two bases and both are
circles
yeah
of course everyone knows this geometric
solid
this is a sphere we can rotate in any
direction but the sphere always looks
the same
the this fear have angles no look this
fear can roll
let's see what else i have my cars
LED an interesting 3d shape what does it
look like
like a donut and also like a ring of a
ring stacker and like a life preserver
it is called the taurus
and here's another prison
just like a cylinder a prism has two
bases
Wow
what
please note that the cylinders bases are
circles while the prison's bases are
polygons
if the base of a prison is a triangle
it is called the triangular prism
a prison of the hexagon added space is
called a hexagonal prism
and so on
yeah
well done guys
you've learned some geometric solids
now let's go and we'll try to look for
geometric solids among familiar objects
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah

Description:
The software is designed as a simple accessory for teaching math. The program can represent the following objects in 3D space: regular prism (3 to 10 sides); general three-sided prism; special four-sided prism (adjustable inclination of sides); regular pyramid (3 to 10 sides). For each geometrical object, certain parameters can be interactively adjusted, such as: height and length of sides, inclination of sides, number of sides, etc. Each object can be gradually and smoothly opened or closed ...
