1999 FORD EXPLORER SUBWOOFER REMOVAL INFO

I recently replaced the sub in my explorer limited. this amp and box is stock. I ordered the woofer from amazon and it sounds pretty good.

you know what's going on everybody this
is my ford explorer here and this is a
limited edition so i don't know if the
other ones to have it but this has a
built in amp and subwoofer enclosure the
the old subwoofer which is right here is
ripped up so I took that out and i
ordered a another subset the boss 8 inch
subwoofer put it right in there
I had a drill their holes because it
didn't fit exactly right
this is up to 400 watts up and I was
real cheap only like twenty bucks so
this is the factory amp that powers it
and if anyone else is having trouble
this is what you have to do we have to
take off the whole side panel starting
with these little clips that go into
here just yank them out and those clips
that go one two three theres two screws
that come under the carpet here that you
have to unscrew and then I oh yeah the
seatbelt you have to take that right out
of there too and then you could lay that
down and then unbolt it and not switch
the subwoofer it's not too hard just be
patient you could do it so now i'm going
to put this back and yeah
here let's see if we could hear how it
sounds

the database is definitely there
I just hope i switched put the
polarities right with the negative
