hello everyone and welcome back to
another video tutorial series on serial
communication in this video tutorial
how will teach you guys how to use
visual basic to write a program that can
send zero data over the USB port so let
me demonstrate the final finished
product that I made
so in this in this example i have
attached a USB to serial device take the
bridge connector to one of my USB ports
and I'm a closed loop between the TX and
RX only need one of the your USB to
serial connector rich
so the first thing I will do is I will
select the port name
so you notice when i hit on the
drop-down combobox it lists available
ports so only ones attack only one for
its attached right now so click on the
comp or six and then select my ball rate
is a predefined values that I said
earlier
so well I know
next is mexican a click on the net
button to open up the port
so now it's ready to go I just going to
type in my input.text ah text box here
test one and hit right so it's gonna
send out to my output box
ok so this will conclude the first video
