How to E-mail an iMovie Project (REALLY EASY)

This video shows you how to e-mail an iMovie Project easily on an iMac and MacBook.

If your movie is too big and exceeds the maximum file size, there are websites that allow you to send huge files. A free site I use is DropSend.

*For the latest version of iMovie (iMovie 10.0.9)
1st Option: Click File -- Share -- File. This will lead you to the first 30 seconds in this video.
2nd Option: Click File -- Share -- Email. This will only work if you have your email account set up on the Mail application.

hey guys and today i'm going to be
showing you how to email and I movie
so first of all I know it's cut off in
this video but there's a top bar and it
says I movie you go all the way to the
right click Share and you scroll down to
export I movie now you name whatever you
want to export as what you're going to
be clicking on when you're emailing it
and you just choose wherever you want to
export it to
I usually just do documents click your
size and then click export and so if you
have a long movie it's going to take a
longer time to export have a short movie
it's going to take a shorter time to
export
so you kind of makes sense there so just
just exploring right now
now once it's done you can go to your
email for me i'm just using gmail one
thing about gmail is at its limit for
size
when you're attaching files is 25
megabytes so if i have a bigger movie
then I just use like special websites
that let me have bigger size limits like
their special website for that you can
just google them
I'm signing in right now because I
messed up right about here
always have those typos
every now and then
ok so now basically when you're in your
email you click compose and you choose
who you want to send it to just do those
basics for emailing and after that you
attach a file
now you go to wherever youse exported
your movie -
in my case documents some clicking right
here
I you click your movie you find it first
try in alphabetical order so you just
find it
you click Choose or continue whatever
then it'll attach it and this
I'm speaking up because it kind of took
a long time for it to attach so just
being you know
