in this video we're going to upgrade a
microsoft access database to a Microsoft
sequel server database and in this
example going to use that this customer
crm software database so this is andres
customer crm software which uses an
access database by default but if i
wanted to have about 50 users i might be
better of upgrading the access database
to a sequel server database so i go to
location of the access database here it
is customer IMDb and if I just open that
database
just enable that content and if i go to
the database tools tab called sequel
server i can create a new database in my
local sequel server express insulation
and are cool
the database customer and I just copy
those tables and just use the indexes
not to make any application changes
I just saw those tables into a new
sequel server database called customer
which is now done and then if I just
open up
server
databases there's customer database
and then for this customer or just open
this conflict database which is an
access database
just got the one table I just need to
change this use sequel server flag to be
true and I just need to replace that
connection string
with one first sequel to express
database and that's it is customer
shutdown and restart now use your server
instead of myself access
