Recovering files after they vanish from a hard drive
You emptied the Recycle Bin, a folder disappeared, or a drive got reformatted, and now the files you need are gone. FILERECOVERY from LC Technology is built for that moment. It scans a drive, builds a list of files that can be saved, and lets you pull them back without writing anything to the drive you are recovering from.

Key features
Recover files without touching the source drive
The software does not write on the drive it is scanning. It uses low-level disk access that keeps write operations to a minimum, so you are not making the damage worse while you recover.
Search by file name and preview before saving
You can search lost and deleted files by file name and preview recoverable data, including MPEG audio and video, before you commit to saving anything. A fast scanning engine builds the file list quickly, and a simple File Manager and Save dialog guide you through the rest.
Get back many file types from damaged or reformatted drives
It targets photos, videos, music, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, mailboxes, address books, graphics and archives. LC Technology says it can handle drives with severe logical file system damage and read Windows, Mac and Linux file systems.
Step up to RAID, remote and VMDK recovery
Professional adds rebuilding and recovering RAID volumes. Enterprise adds remote recovery via VNC and recovery of VMDK files stored on local file systems.
Who it's for
The Standard edition suits you if you want to recover deleted or lost files from an internal or external hard drive yourself. Choose Professional if a RAID is involved. Enterprise and Enterprise Commercial are for IT teams, and for businesses recovering data on behalf of customers.

Can I try it first?
Yes. Free trials are offered for the Standard and Professional editions.
Which edition do I need?
Standard covers file recovery with search and preview. Choose Professional for RAID volumes, and Enterprise for remote VNC recovery and VMDK files.
