CommView Enterprise License: see what is really crossing your network
Your network feels slow, an application keeps failing to reach a server, or you suspect a machine is talking to something it shouldn't. Guessing wastes hours. CommView from TamoSoft takes the guesswork out by capturing the packets on the wire so you can read them.
Quick facts
- Type: network monitor, packet sniffer and protocol analyzer for wired networks
- Platform: Windows
- Trial: a trial version is available from the vendor
- Made by: TamoSoft
Key features
Capture every packet on the wire and list it in real time
CommView captures every packet on the wire and shows a list of packets and network connections, vital statistics and protocol distribution charts. You get a full picture of the traffic moving through a PC or LAN segment.
Decode protocols down to the lowest layer
You can examine, save, filter, import and export captured packets. Decodes go down to the lowest layer, with full analysis of over 100 supported protocols.
Read encrypted sessions with SSL/TLS decryption
A normal capture tool can't show you what is inside an encrypted session. Version 7.0 introduced SSL/TLS traffic decryption on the fly, so you can inspect the contents of encrypted traffic.
Save logs for later analysis
Captured packets can be saved to log files, so you can review an intermittent problem after it has happened.
Who it's for
TamoSoft aims CommView at LAN administrators, security professionals and network programmers. It also suits home users who want to see what is flowing through a PC or LAN segment. It helps you pinpoint network problems and troubleshoot software and hardware.
