ImTOO Audio Encoder 6 is a well featured encoding software which supports as input the most known audio and video formats and as output the most common formats like MP2, MP3, AAC, AC3, M4A, OGG, WAV, WMA. The encoding settings includes a trimming function, codec settings (sample rate, bit rate, channel mode, volume adjustment, encoding mode and quality) and metadata editing.

ImTOO Audio Encoder 6 can also rip audio CD's using the settings available for conversion. As conversion control settings, the software provides ways to control the number of CPU's to be implied in conversion process, the number of simultaneous processed running and the priority of the conversion process reported to other system processes.

The user interface is nice color skinned, includes a preview video player for input files, some general and splitting options for audio encoding and an output file format profile area. ImTOO Audio Encoder 6 have an acceptable price for what it can do.

Limitations:
- The trial version will allow to convert at most 3 minutes from every item queued.

With so many audio formats available, you'll probably need to convert from one to another some day. And ImTOO Audio Encoder stands as a good choice for this task.

This easy tool enables you to convert audio files between a wide range of formats including the most popular ones. The conversion process is reduced to three simple steps: select the files you want to convert, choose the encoder and click on the encode button to start. All the conversions we tried during our testings went quite fast and were successfully completed.

ImTOO Audio Encoder includes settings for each of the available encoders, so that you can tweak every single detail in the conversion process. Unfortunately we can0t say the same of the Tools menu, as it didn't open at all.

With ImTOO Audio Encoder you can easily convert audio files from one format to another, in three simple steps and with highly configurable settings.

ImTOO Audio Encoder is a full-featured audio converter that can transcode nearly all the most popular audio and video formats from and to MP3, AAC, AC3, APE, FLAC, OGG, MP2, RA, WMA, and WAV. The program comes with a very user-friendly interface and a built-in audio/video player that lets you watch your videos and listen to your audio files before conversion, which will help you to make sure that the right media is being converted.

ImTOO audio and video products are the best multimedia tools I have ever used, and this audio encoder deserves the same appreciation. With it, you can also convert any selected part of an audio file using its built-in “clip” tool. The program also lets you split large files by size or time, which makes sharing big audio files between multiple computers and burning your CDs an easier task.

The best thing about the program is its balanced combination of flexibility and functionality. For expert users, the program comes with some special effects, audio filters, an ID3 tag editor, and adjustable output audio parameters, which can convert audio to suit almost any multimedia player. You can also change the output audio channels, bit rate, sample rate, and volume levels as desired. The program lets you convert multiple files at once without caring about their source formats, and can automatically shut down your PC or put it on stand-by after the completion of those time-consuming batch conversions.

"Thanks ImTOO Audio Encoder! A great audio tool! I hate having to choose all technical settings as I do not consider myself a computer savvy, I'm glad it has helped me convert my .mp4 files to .mp3 files so easily! With your audio converter I can use the defaults and just click Convert!"

Great product at a good price

ImToo Audio Encoder is a respectable program that just didn’t have enough options to make it to the top three. However, it’s still a worthwhile audio converter. ImTOO has great functionality and good compatibility, making it useful for the casual user or someone who needs to convert their whole music library.

At first glance, ImTOO looks poorly designed and complicated, but don’t let the design fool you. The program is actually easy to use. If you don’t like the look, ImTOO does come with an alternate skin; just don’t count on it being much more appealing.

Looks aside, ImTOO is a competent audio converter that only missed our top three because of limited compatibility and no CD ripping capabilities.

Features Set:

ImTOO allows you to do single or multiple conversions and configure the bit rate, sampling rate and channels for each music file. We were pleasantly surprised that ImTOO can extract audio from video files, though we wish that it could take audio from CDs too. ImTOO also works with ID3 audio tags.

Input/Output:
ImTOO can convert 14 different types of audio files, including the staples like MP3, WMA and WAV. We were also happy to see that ImTOO can convert AAC files, which is the file format common on Apple iPods

Ease of Use:
ImTOO has a simple interface that is common to most of the players. You can queue songs for conversion and alter the settings for file output by selecting the settings button.

Help/Support:
ImTOO Software Studio has email support, FAQs and tutorials for its Audio Encoder.

Summary:
ImTOO Audio Encoder is a great product at a good price, but it’s lack of CD ripper leaves ImTOO lagging just behind the pack.
