I'm Graham Miln, the creator of Movie Splitter.
Let's take a look at how to split Canon Hybrid
Auto movies.
Hybrid Auto movies are compilations created
by Canon cameras. They combine a few seconds
of film footage with every photo you've taken,
into bundles of about five seconds.
Clicking export asks where to save the individual
movies and then immediately starts working
through the 93 sections.
Movie Splitter has automatically found all
93 section for us.
Each section contains one photo and the footage
leading up to that moment.
In this case we have a near two gigabyte,
seven minute long, Hybrid Auto movie to work
with.
Movie Splitter will happily work in the background
and will not slow down your Mac.
We are dealing with a near two gigabyte movie
file. That's big and it will take a moment
to process.
While the last sections finish, notice the
counter in the dock. The counter shows the
number of sections remaining.
Our export is complete.
We now have a folder of movies ready to watch,
share, or combine into a new movie.
