everybody what's up this is rich this is

whether using hotmail pop or imap this
will universally work
first of all i'm going to say you should
check your if you're using popular you
can ignore this step but if you're using
imap or hotmail you want to make sure
that you're right click each one of your
folders into synchronization settings to
all messages if you do headers only that
means that the message is not
necessarily downloaded unless you double
click on it first
you can tell because you'll see these
little envelopes next to each message if
it looks like a broken envelope that
means that the message is not downloaded
so just make sure you right click the
folder and you do all messages and do
that for each folder here and then you
can go back to headers afterwards if you
want to i'm going to show you how easy
it is to backup male drag the client
down here a little bit i'm just gonna
make a folder on my desktop i'm going to
call it
male backup and what I'm going to do is
I'm going to take three of these emails
wanna click and drag outside the client
and into the folder when I open this
folder up there are the three emails
copied not moved or copied now let's
just say i delete these three by
accident oops
they're gone oh my god what do I do
well I can open up this folder highlight
these three
I mean just resize the window a little
bit and then drag them in here and
they're back where they were and it
carried over the date and everything
real simple
so if you wanted to back up your mail
really easy that is the way to do it and
you can mass copy emails if I took
everything i do a control a and
highlight every single message in here
and i'm not going to copy
because it's quite a lot of mail in here
but i can put it into a folder here and
then i can take these files and put them
onto sperm to CD or DVD or whatever and
my mail is at that point backed up
simple easy ridiculously easy and widely
unknown about this too is most people
don't know that you can do that and yes
this will also work with Outlook Express
six so that's my quick tip of the moment
that's the unless anyone knows an easier
way to backup mail because in
thunderbird what happens is that it puts
it into this mbox file and it's really
hard to deal with but this is stupidly
simple you don't need any backup
software you could actually just do it
this way
