hello in this presentation I am going to
show you how to download and install the
windows seven automated installation kit
so I've already done a google search for
the windows seven automated installation
kit download and I've already gotten
several results on my screen so if i go
ahead and click the first result i'm at
the microsoft download center and i can
go ahead and download the automated
installation kit for windows seven so
I'm going to do the demonstration from
the virtual world that I've created and
virtually running on my computer I've
gotta 2008 r2 server that's running is
acting as a file server and a domain
controller and i also have a windows
seven client computer running inside of
vmware player this is where i'm going to
install the windows seven automated
installation kit so i'm going to go
ahead and click on start and inside a
start i'm going to start the search
string 4 / / RWD c01 which is the name
of my server and then i'm going to hit
enter because i want to browse for the
files I'd like so i'm going to double
click on downloads and i'm going to
double-click on win7 aik and inside of
win7 aik i'm going to scroll down to
start CD and i'm going to double click
on start see and this opens the windows
automated installation kit menu and from
here I'm going to choose windows aik
setup and this will install the windows
aik so an installation wizard starts and
it's going to take maybe a little bit of
time because it's copying the files from
the 2008 server to my windows seven
client but here we go so the wizard is
now asking me what I'd like to do
welcome to the windows automated
installation kit setup wizard the
installer will guide you through the
steps required to install windows aik on
your computer's i'm going to click
next and I need to agree with the terms
of the license
click on next and choose a location
where I'd like it to install I'm fine
with c colon slash program files /
windows aik I could always browse for an
alternate location but this is fine with
me and also this applications can be
available for everyone that uses this
virtual machine instead of just me so
I'm going to leave the bullet point at
everyone and click Next
so now i need to confirm my installation
the installer is ready to install the
windows automated installation kit on
your computer click Next to start the
installation so we're installing the
windows seven automated installation kit
on my windows seven virtual machine
running inside of vmware player
welcome back the installation is
complete that windows automated
installation kit has been successfully
installed click close to exit so i'm
going to click close and i'm going to
close my windows seven automated
installation kit menu as well as my file
share 2rw DC 0 1 and this concludes the
