You're computer will need to connected to the internet for this process to be completed successfully. The Activation process is quick and easy to do and should happen in the background without any interaction from you. If you are upgrading to Windows 10 for the first time, there maybe a small delay in the activation process, due to a lot of people connecting to Microsoft activation server, this high number of requests to activate there copy of windows can be delayed for a day of so. To check if your computer has been activated click on the Start Menu, click Settings and choose Update & Security, Activation. You should see "you're computer is activated".

looking at how you can retrieve or find
your Windows 10 product key now if
you've upgraded from a previous version
of windows are you windows vista and
windows 7 windows 8 windows 8.1 any of
those operating systems
then you will need to retrieve your
Windows 10 product key for future
reference just in case that you get
infected or you want to reinstall your
operating system at a later date
now you can't use your previous product
key
ie your product key for a windows 7 or
windows 8 because it won't work with
windows 10 it then gives you a brand new
product key for windows 10
this is the key that you're going to
need to reinstall windows later date
ok so i'm going to quickly show you how
to retrieve this and it's an age-old
method of going to a number of sites
this one is a tried and trusted site
called nirsoft in come here and download
their product key and we will find
office keys and windows product keys and
loads of others ok there's tons of other
ways to do it but this is a really good
up a sweat to go to to get your for
product key finder
ok so come down to the bottom here and
we need to do is just come all the way
down and you will see the download links
here k 64-bit is this one here and this
one will be for your 32 bit download
those into your desktop or undo that
wherever you like
whether it be your downloads folder or
something about that then you can drag
it to your desktop
there'll be a couple of files you have
to leave the other files and just kept
this one
once a sort of read me file help file
and a readme file but now I've just got
this file here and what this is going to
do just right click on this and running
as administrator click yes and you can
see it's a very fine publisher and then
once you do that you should see your
product key is here ok now this product
key is just the generic product key
so this is not going to be much use to
you guys if you write it down right now
so don't waste your time
this is just a generic key now if I did
have a activated operating system this
key would be there Mikey you can run
that Key down and use that if you ever
did have to do a fresh install whether
you got infected or something like that

getting your product key back if you've
