Desktop Presenter is an
application built into Wirecast
that allows you to capture
your computer's screen,
an external monitor, or
individual windows on your
desktop to use as
shots in your live stream.
To set up a local Desktop
Presenter shot to capture a
specific window,
open the sources menu,
and click show sources settings.
This will open the
source settings window.
Click the plus button in the
bottom left of the window and
choose add local
desktop presenter.
To create a
specific window shot,
choose the window capture
type, and click the select
window/monitor button at the
bottom of the sources settings
window.
From here you can choose which
application you want to capture,
then the specific window.
Click ok and choose to hide
or show your mouse cursor or
capture the audio from
your selected window.
Once you have made
your customizations,
right click your new local
Desktop Presenter shot to rename
it, and then close the
sources settings window.
To add the new shot, choose a
layer and hover over the plus
icon.
Click the monitor icon and add
your new local Desktop Presenter
