hey youtube and he starts from and
associate a school and in this lesson
we're going to learn how to play
thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran
I'm really glad and overcome you can
count loud why is not be watched by
jason mraz tutorial
anyhow is the lesson
yeah
mmm
yeah
yeah
yeah
yeah
hmm
yeah
so for this junior in standard tuning
and we'll deal with the cards first of
all so what we've got is d so first
finger second fret g string third finger
third fret D string second finger second
fret finished II and then we're going to
move to a card called d / f sharp so
what you want to do believe your third
finger where is will be first finger up
to 2nd fret on the E string sticky
string second finger moves up to the 2nd
fret on the g string then we're going to
move to a G card and we all need to play
a partial card on this
so what we do is move the second finger
up to the 3rd fret on the thickest e
street
everything else is open and then we've
got an air card
so first finger second fret the second
finger second fret G and third finger
second fret B so it starts off with what
i'm going to do is on the right-hand
plate of the thumb on the D string first
finger on the g string and second finger
on the B string you're going to take the
first finger off on the left hand to
start with
so you play all three strings the first
thing you're going to hammer on to the
second friend
so
hmm
I actually have done that with the right
hand you're going to just close your
hand a little bit so that you know cause
of pointing inwards and slap the strings
and when you slap the strings make sure
that the hand stops on the strings to
give you this
mute so you've got
we're going to change over to the dr f
sharp sore thumb goes on to that Vicki
string first finger is going to go on to
the g string second finger on the B so
we play those slaps up to now we've got
mmm
and then when you go to the G so thumb
on the thickest string first finger on
the g string and second finger is going
to go on to the B string to play those
slam so - now it got
mmm
ok so now the aircard what we're going
to do is actually buy this down
you can either play what their card if
you wanna play simply can play our told
you in the first part
all you can bar down onto the D string g
string and be stream
so if you want to play it straight what
you do is you would play with your thumb
on the a string first finger on G and
second finger on B and then do the slap
we're going to play out cheering place
it going to use the bar play with the
same fingers on the strings
and then we're going to do is instead of
the slap you're going to bring the thumb
down onto the D string and then play the
g string with the first finger and
hammer on with the third finger
on to the false fret on the g string
and then go back around so the race
would be
mmm
yeah
so for the cars going to play a minor
then to a
yeah
so to do that we're going to place
e-minor to play E - thumb on the e
string first finger on the second finger
on G and 13 grand be on the right hand
and you can ask play those three fingers
in the back in the thumb
bring that rock crushing strings then /
so you gonna do that twice to a when you
moved to the air you keep the first
second third thing is where they have to
drop the thumb down to the a string and
then to d so going to move all the
fingers dancing d that he thought first
things on g second fingers on B and 13
honey
so we got the pick up a second part is
just a minor to a
the next part is e minus twice
2a and B minor which is a bar card sorry
about this guy's
so first finger is going to bar down 2nd
fret from the a string down to the E
string you want to keep that as close to
the fret as possible second finger goes
to second or third fret on the B third
finger goes on 4th fret on the D and
little finger is on 4th fret on the g
third finger for fret D little finger
fourth fret G with the thumb on the air
strength first second and third on the
be so the entire cars goes
yeah
yeah
yeah
and then you get a nice little run down
in the song and it's the part where the
cars change pretty fast so it goes
hmm this is is quite tricky so you hear
a you player
best thing to do when he gets this bit
just start coughing or sneezing
you know I make it look like it you can
play it but just at this point in time
your body is just over comea if you can
play well then it's still gonna take a
bit of practice but you should be our
eyes be minor
we're just going to pick with the
fingers again so you want to be using
the first second and third fingers so
first finger led second finger on G
third finger on B and then you get your
thumb on the air strings going to play
you be minor
you gotta move to get a use the same
fingers on your hand then we're going to
move to the G so that use the same
fingers on your right hand that move the
thumb up to the E string and then we
move to DC so what we're going to do
there is moves first second third
fingers down to G B and E and then you
thumb on the D string
we've got a minor G leave
I'm going to move to the gcard again
using the same fingers and thumb pattern
that we did before some of the thickest
string 1st 2nd 3rd finger going from the
d string down g and then you move to the
a so just drop this thumb on to the
airstrip and then to the D and we drop
all the fingers down like this for the
last two minor G
g
yeah
and that is it my friends so please
don't forget to share like and subscribe
without plenty more comment
thank you for watching

We measure some songs in sections of fourths with the beat count being a repetitious, one, two, three, four. Other songs may be measured in thirds and counted as a repetitious one, two, three. This produces a different beat. The count or beat is determined by the time signature.
