oh yeah I do and and a lot of times I
get it because the so many other people
you know feel that way about me they
probably feel that way about me more
than I feel that way about myself and i
really say that because you know I've
been here for for a while like United my
first big song in 2004 and a lot of the
music that's going on right now to the
day is music that I created you know
maybe 10 years ago
no i mean so I just hear my music just
over and over and over again
I people remaking the same music I've
been making for less than a year so when
I say that I'm just saying you know I'm
referring to
i I'm one of the guys they created you
know so much it was going on right now
but then I don't really get the you know
the praise for the other acknowledgement
for that which is cool
no i mean because I think that's what
has kept me around for so long is you
know people not really you know i mean
blow me up what you're saying I'm the
best would do so anything like that so
it keeps me on a level where it's always
room for me to grow
you know I mean always no room for me to
get bigger so you know I I almost
enjoyed it enjoyed it
the being underrated because they just
keep me around long are going to add to
that too is the fact that when you think
about Zaytoven on a producer the type of
producers that you see nowadays you
never see these dudes cook up like you
never see these dudes like really going
to studio and just go crazy no more you
just see him come out of the blue and
say hey here's a record I did it last
night you didn't know and that's like
all the producers down days
he is one of the only producers to this
day that you can see going to studio and
make a beat from top to bottom with no
pressure like he didn't think about it
even you don't was no thought to it it
just came out in the muscles in it so
you know
yeah right Griffin Vinick definitely
play the part
we don't have a lot of guys that can
really do that now that's what a real i
want to uh I'm having to produce account
is to you know because as a producer
you know I missed the fact that you know
and I'm other producers i can watch them
sit down make music and create you know
be creative it
you know they can sit down and touch the
keyboard or drum machine
you know it and impress me so cuz that's
what I don't like what I do music when i
get in the studio I'm trying to impress
everybody in the room
you know I mean nothing premeditated it
just you know you know that everything
is being created right down there so now
let me ask you this
okay because I'm not a producer and some
people watching this our producers
someone but the way technology is like
you had mentioned there's some producers
that can cook up from glaad gentlemen
and there's some producers that just can
cook up with the touch of a mouse
mhm right is that a technology issue
meaning
are they on the same playing field as
someone like you because the technology
or is it an uneven balance of a playing
field because you can do it manually and
cook up from scratch versus someone with
the technology
oh I mean we we really on the same plan
feel they just use different tools
you know I never really was I never
really went down somebody on how they
make their music and because i have seen
I don't sit down and watch them you know
do it on a computer and it's like man
cuz i can I don't do that i can't do it
i never even tried to get into it but so
it's a different art and and former what
they do in a different way of creating
so I respect that to the fully friendly
with them coming up with having the
biggest own you know the number 10 on
the country and they just made it right
down a little bit of computer
you know I mean me just being a musician
and a person of of music you know me
is it just you know it's different for
me I'll I do respect you know I do have
a high respect of a person that can sit
there and make music
you know
write down my face you know what
touching keys and in drum machines are
just a different gift
no I mean that comes with that so but I
respect both you know but me
firstly what i like better is to say
then why somebody you know
cook up with a drum machine in the
keyboard now when we're talking
producers in today's time
mmm if you could give me a percentage on
how many can cook up in front of you
like you just described how many
percentage could you say could actually
cook up in front of of today's crop of
up and coming producers be true
now trying to be I'm gonna see oh I
don't I don't know
well let me say it is i don't know i
don't know maybe they can
that does it the way I do it now has
seen him now guys can sit there and cook
up they can make a beat right down spot
but you know just using technology so
you know it's a little still a high
percentage of people that can do that
so it's just they don't do it the same
way I do it so I can sit and say they
can't nobody make no be right there
you know a spot
