grab a screenshot of the text
and only the text without any images in
the background or elsewhere
this works best when the text is on a
white background
to do a screenshot of your screen you
can just press the printscreen button on
your keyboard
and then open up a graphics editor like
MS Paint
or Photoshop and then paste it in there
then you can just crop of what you don't
need
in and save the image when you're
finished know I've used this method for
years
but it's kind of a pain in the butt so
I'm gonna show you a much faster way
use a program called Snagit and it's
made by TechSmith which are the same
people that make him taser
makes everything much easier it does
cost for a fifty dollars so if you can
afford it
go for it but if not just go with the
free option however I do have the
recommended as it does make my life a
lot easier
and the other ever since for both
Windows and Mac
you can get there at TechSmith dot com

Snagit that HTML and yes they do offer a
free trial
with Snagit all you have to do is press
the printscreen key
on your keyboard and that highlight your
text in the wall
automatically save it as an image for
you now there are also some free screen
capture plugins for Firefox as well
and you can check the mail at HTTP
s colon forward slash force last
at arm's dot Mozilla
dot order and then just do a search for
the word screenshot
now I personally only snag it so you
have to test some of these out yourself
and see which one works best for you
in %uh the second step is to actually
extract
the text now this is the part that took
me forever to figure out
no snag it as much as I recommend it has
a feature that is supposed to do this
but for some reason I can't quite seem
get it to work right
luckily I found two really cool web
sites that help extract text from your
images
the first one is called 3-20 CR dot com
know this site is real easy to use but
from my experience I've had about 25
percent success rate
with extracting text now it's really
good to have more than one site to go to
just in case for them is giving you
problems
the second set to use seems to be a lot
more reliable
and that said is online OC or dad lets
forward slash default dot aspx
now this is the one that I use the most
the Texas spits out is almost are on but
you'll likely have to fix a few words
that it didn't properly read
know you notice when were these
different web sites doesn't work very
well
the other one probably will and
sometimes neither wanna work
but then I just typed that what was
missed by hand in
no big deal and that's really all there
is to it
I know what simple but I also know that
at one time I didn't have a clue on how
to do this
so hopefully this will be helpful to
some you out there and I feel free to
