hello today we're taking a look at super
good noising this is a photo no noise
reduction app from the mac app store and
as the name implies it is a professional
image noise reduction software so it
detects and removes noise from photos so
you know if you have those grainy photos
or something that you may have taken in
a lower lighting setting and you can
effectively do your best to remove that
noise
so here i have an image already imported
so you can go ahead and drag and drop
the image i really like the interface
because it's simple you can just drag
drop an image you can of course i use
the app to go ahead and navigate your
folders here you have the save
photo button and then you can scale
depending on how much you want to view
the photo so in this case i'm giving it
a hundred percent here
so on the left is your source photo and
the right will be the photo that your
are the end results essentially so you
get a live preview of the noise effects
that you may add to it
c'mon you can do batch noise reduction
so that's a really great feature if you
have multiple photos that you took that
are just a ton of them have noise you
can do in volumes which is really really
helpful support a ton of formats from
raw BMP jpg PNG I haven't run into any
issues so far with it not supporting any
of the images that have been ported
whether it's from a smartphone DSLR etc
so that being said you have a couple of
options here
you can do a slight reduction you can do
a light reduction you can do gentle
medium strong stronger strongest and the
utmost in this case I'm going to hit
strong and as you can see here it's
going to take a second to go ahead and
process the effect and you can already
see how good of a job at did denoising
the photo you can see the grain in the
background i did a really good job even
on the face and the person here
I can do strong guest here and see how
well the job it does you can see again
makes it much much more smoother hearing
is it a really clean look
on top of that i have more control over
the photos i can adjust things like the
sharpness of the photo years if i want
to be a little bit less sharp
I can adjust the radius of it the
intensity that it goes with so i can
adjust that I can lower that if i want
to hear so i can put even lower down
there and just keep on finding it i get
the image
and I want here on the right you also
have settings for your g noise or so you
can adjust the luminance so if I'd up
the luminance here you'll see how that
affects the photos you can take and
lower that so you can see that one a
little bit too blurry and wanted to
still be kind of sharp in the photo
there so that was too low so adjusted it
yet again you can see just around 23 ish
seems to be the sweet spot that I like
right here to make the photo not too
grainy and just just enough there you
can adjust other things like you can up
the smoothness here and then again i can
make that higher and just right there
that's perfect - exactly where I want
the photo and you can see the difference
here you can see in the cup using the
skin the background all that noise is
gone
it does this little kind of effect would
obviously it adds on a little effect to
make it
d noise and you can see their kind of
mutes the colors kind of washes it out
so as long as that detail isn't super
important to you can see the detail on
the shirt you lose a little bit of that
so you want to play around with the
settings to make the photo still
detailed enough and not too kind of
washed out otherwise you're just gonna
end up with almost looks like a painting
or pastel image but nonetheless if
you're just doing it for a slight
reduction that you can use the lighter
effects that they pack into the
application it's really simple to use
and i really like is it gives you full
control to really fine-tune the image to
get it how you want it
