Now that you understand how exchange rates are calculated and how to set up Dynamics AX 2012 to enable reporting in multiple currencies, let's see how you can easily view the data in the web viewer.

currency
and when I selected I'm able to see the
different reporting currencies that are
available
crossed my different companies in
Dynamics AX so you can see by the fall
US dollars is checked because that's
what my report originally generated
that was a functional reporting currency
now let's just say I am easier and I am
located all over in
in down in brazil and when I look at the
Stade I'm
very interested in how are performing
with the balance sheet looks like
but dollars don't really make a lotta
sense to me
so I'm you want to look at my Indian and
Brazilian now it's as easy as me so I
think currency
and choosing the currency that I'm
familiar with and you can see that the
data is translated
and up in the header I can now see that
this is the balance sheet
and it's now the spleen in the Brazilian
Rielle currency
likewise let's just say I'm love the
executives but I'm located in whenever
European subsidiaries
so I also look at the balance sheet on a
monthly basis
but euros is a currency that's most
familiar to me
so just like the person located in
Brazil then I can go ahead and choose
your own
and have data translated to euros you
know again at the top I can see that the
day is in your house
the currency translation feature is no
longer just for consolidations
is forgetting dated the right people at
the right time
in a way that is relevant to them so
that they are able to view all the data
in a currency
that they're familiar with
