i just opened WM capture i'm going to
show you how to set it up so that you
can make beautiful high-quality screen
capture videos of anything you can play
on your pc screen including beautiful
copies of any of the shows or movies
that stream on sites like hulu . com
the first thing i'm going to do is go to
settings
I want to ensure that my video and audio
settings are set up perfectly for what I
want to record
so the first thing I'm going to do is go
to the audio setup test
i click that button it's telling me to
that it's wants to select the sigmatel
audio is my source and stereo mix as my
input so i click test and it tells me
that my reporting is ok so i click ok
then i'm going to go to recommended
settings and what I want to record is a
high quality full motion video and I
have a dual core cpu so i'm going to
click on to and click ok and it adjusts
my video bitrate and frames and format
so that it is perfectly set up for what
I want to record so then I just click OK
here
so now i'm going to bring over hulu i
have it set up
I want to record community so I click
play
and this will bring up the player window
the next thing I need to do is adjust WM
capture so that it records just the part
of the screen
I want to record let me pause this
stream and then i'm going to go down to
the WM capture user interface and click
on get window put my mouse over the
player and click and most of the time it
will find just the area around the
player that I want to record in this
case it is selected an area that's
slightly bigger so I grab these little
flashing boxes this little one in the
lower right hand corner and one up in
the upper left hand corner and I'm
redefining the windows so that it's just
exactly the size that I want to record
the smaller the area on your pc screen
that you record the better because that
ensures that you get a better quality
video
so then i'm going to click record tells
me it's initializing the recording and
then i'm going to click play
I'll let it record a little bit and i'll
come back and show you what I've
captured
so to play back my recorded file all i
need to do is click on View it'll bring
up the list of my saves recordings i
know the one I want to play back as the
last one
I'm not sure if you can hear the audio
but I can hear it beautifully and that's
all there is to it
I get a beautiful saved a perfect cat a
copy of what was streaming online
super easy to set up super easy to use
