so let's move on and make actual free is
being barcode so what i did was i click

right and you can see the free online
barcode generator website
now let's follow the next step so first
we click that link then we're going to
go
symbology ISBN so let's go back to our
page is opened up symbology is code 93
switching it to
ISBN ok so it's got your number here and
then it's got a space and then it's got
a five digits that's going to plus 5 ad
on and that's your price for your book
basically this is already formatted in
US dollars and this price right here is
a 5-4 495 so that's actually a dollar
sign
forty-four dollars and ninety-five cents
that's the human translation - what
machines will read this bar code to be
okay so so here's what we're gonna do
we're gonna put in our ISBN
and I've got it I've got one right here
this is for somebody who was needing a
little help i'm just going to put their
actual ISBN number right here so don't
put that number but put your own number
and it shows you where to put the dashes
ok and then and then put your price
so this price is dollars 1999 I'll
switch it to nine dollars and
ninety-nine cents right here you can put
whatever price you want
that's why I'm making this video so you
can put your own price in your barcode

ok so next we did that did step 3
next under additional parameters put a 5
in both boxes next to the word scale is
going to make the scale of this barcode
big
so put a 5 and both boxes scroll down to
the page click make barcode
alright so let's go back over here quick
make barcode it will appear below . ah
there's your barcode it's huge
ok so you can download it as an eps PNG
jpg
I made a huge so it's like it's big
so your designer can shrink it down
whatever size in me and you can have in
whatever format you need to click eps or
whatever
so let's look here it should look big on
the screen because it has to be
condensed - 300 DPI print quality
remember your screen is at 72 DPI that's
that's much bigger it's gonna make
things look big
which need to be smaller I hope that
makes sense
so now it's as jpg you can then you're
going to have a jpeg at the top of your
screen
so if i click jpg here there's my jpg I
have to do is drag this off
you can see I'm dragging and I just drag
it onto my desktop or you could right
click it
and do a save as kind of thing
i'm not using a pc am using a mac so
with Mac I just drag it onto the desktop
and as you can see there's this file
it's hard to see it but this file is on
my desktop
I'm going to move this out of the way
just so you can see that this file is
actually on my desktop now I got this
our code nice custom bar code for you
there it is our code jpg file
it's got my custom ISBN number it's got
the price
