hello and welcome back
I'm Joseph Hoffman today we're going to
do another rhythm game and this is so we
can practice the rhythm we learned last
time the half note are also going to be
reviewing the rhythms you've already
learned
let's play I'm going to speak a rhythm
and that i like you to try to draw the
rhythm
you'll need to go to our website and
download the rhythm card so you can try
drawing the rhythm that you here and
then i'll show you the answer
here's the first rhythm remember that
somewhere in this rhythm today i'm going
to be using a half note so see if you
can hear where the half note is here we
go
bah bah bah
listen one more time then try to draw
the rhythm ba-ba-ba-ba push pause if you
need some time because I'm about to draw
the correct answer
don't look at the screen until you have
your answer ready
if this is what you drew then you're
correct let's say with rhythm words
remember for the half note we say - and
point to each beat while you say it

good job here's a new rhythm but but

try to draw that rhythm I'll show the

now can you point to the beach and do it

to make it even a little trickier by
using four sixteenth notes
remember the sound these make is ticky
ticky ticky ticky
and this time there will not be a half
note here we go

remember that the speed that you say the
rhythm is important in music

will be the trickiest because i'm going
to use sixteenth notes and i'm going to
use a half note let's see if you can get
