How To Find & Delete Duplicates In iTunes On Windows PC

How to delete duplicate original tracks find/remove duplicate songs or multiple copies of the same music that show up more than once in your iTunes music library. Duplicate music/songs/videos/files, removing mp3/mp4 from iTunes library on a windows computer.

hey what's going on guys i just have a
short video want to share with you guys
on how to remove duplicate items and
itunes now this will work if you have a
Windows 7 computer Windows 8 computer
right now I'm running on Windows 10 PC
so what you want to do is go ahead and
open up itunes here and down at the
bottom you can see - 30,000 items and I
have like a hundred nineteen gig or so
of music that I've built up in my
library over a period of years and at
the top your menu probably looks like
this but i'm going to show you guys a
little trick if you click at the top
corner there and you come down to where
it says show menu bar you get this new
little menu bar here
so what you want to do from here is i'll
show you real quick that is my current
version of itunes 12.3 . o . 44 and what
you want to do is go to view and then
click show duplicate items and that will
show all your duplicate items and if i
go back down here to this little bar
says 220 items 1.2 nine gigs of space is
being used up by all these duplicate
songs that I have in here so all you
need to do from here guys is click edit
select all and all you got to do is
right click and click delete
it'll ask you a couple of prompts here
probably like to delete your songs
now I still need to organize mine a
little bit so I'm not going to delete
all mine right now
the one thing you want to be careful of
is if you click artist or you click name
at the top here you can see that it kind
of rearrange things
so you want to be careful that you're
not deleting say the same artist with
the same name may be under a different
album maybe the album is a live version
of that artist
so you just want to be careful with that
and basically guys that's all you have
to do and to get back into your normal
screen you can just go to view all show
all items in your back to normal
